We moved into a new home with an unsafe wood fireplace. We wanted to convert it to a gas fireplace insert. I had a serious leak in out roof that turned out to require a full replacement, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. From the moment they came out to inspect the damage, they were honest, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. The team walked me through the issues, gave me a clear and fair quote, and then got to work quickly. Not only did they replace the entire roof with great attention to detail, but they also went above and beyond by addressing a few other issues they discovered—at no extra cost. I hired Marko to replace the laminate flooring in my condo with vinyl flooring. The work done by his team was good — the installation was neat and completed on time. Based on that, I was initially satisfied and would have rated the experience highly. However, on the day the work was completed, I noticed a dent in the middle of the new floor. I contacted Marko right away, and he responded, saying he would fix it after his two-week vacation. Up until then, our communication had been smooth, so I agreed to wait. Unfortunately, he didn’t follow up after the two weeks. I reached out again and was told that he had started a new project and would contact me later to schedule the repair. I needed to remove and replace my basement flooring. My neighbour had work done by Ecolux Contracting and highly recommended them and as I had seen them around the neighbourhood doing work at various homes, I called them to take a look at the work I needed to be done and provide a quote. Jiyan of Ecolux Contracting assessed the work, provided suggestions and gave me a very reasonable quote and provided a timeline. Jiyan and his team started the job on time, moved the furniture, removed the old flooring and took care of the disposal. Together we chose the flooring, ordered it, and as soon as it arrived, it was installed. I am very pleased with the installation of the new flooring and baseboards. The workers were very experienced.
