We requested quotes from a number of vendors on HomeStars to fully re-shingle our roof. Golden Phoenix was one of the first to respond, and, unlike most service other providers, Golden Phoenix was also very responsive with all of my questions (shingles, process, timing, noise, what to expect, etc). Oral was great about answering all of my questions. He was also able to offer a cost estimate based on Google Maps. Pricing was reasonable. Availability was good to get it done. Separate from the main re-shingling, Oral also fixed and replaced some other things on a smaller flat portion of our roof at a reasonable incremental cost (this wasn’t part of our original ask). The whole job was done in one day with Oral and his very hard-working crew working tirelessly (early AM to late PM). Oral’s crew vacuumed the remaining debris so well that you wouldn’t even notice that work had been done. Oral and the Golden Phoenix team certainly made the job as painless as possible. The initial visit was fine with the exception of the late arrival. The diagnostic was fine and I was told I could get a discount on the installation of a new appliance. The part for repair wouldn't have been worth the expense. When I called to accept that offer, they reneged and quoted a higher price. I was advised on the call they would speak to their superior to resolve the discrepancy. I didn't hear back. I contacted another repair company willing to do it for that lower price. The other repair company did a great job.

Serge was on time, extremely professional and communicative. We had the siding replaced on our home with vinyl shakes as well as eaves replaced. Now three months later and we are still extremely happy with his work and attention to detail. He was very communicative and prepared. He cleaned up from the job each day, leaving the site immaculate. He also did some extra bits of work for free for us. He noticed a raccoon had ripped off some shingles in a corner, which he told us about and repaired at no extra cost. I fully recommend Serge for exterior home work.

Do not hire - extremely disappointing experience. I can't recommend Bellevue Landscaping for anyone seeking reliable and responsive service. Reached out to Bellevue in March 2025 for a front yard project and paid a deposit. What followed was six months of poor communication and delays that made the project impossible to complete. After a couple visits to discuss the project, communication became wildly inconsistent. Routine questions about timing and logistics took multiple days to get responses, often requiring repeated follow-ups. Despite numerous attempts to establish clear timelines and move forward, we were continuously strung along through the entire summer with vague promises and no concrete deliverables. We ultimately had to cancel the project due to Ron's inability to maintain basic professional communication, which cost us valuable time. Save yourself the frustration and find someone who values their clients' time and maintains professional communication standards.

We're very happy with the work done. Some areas of hardwood in the upper hallway and bedrooms in our almost 100 year old house we're very noisy. If one person was awake, everyone was. The job took two days and the men worked non-stop. We were told not to expect 100% silent but we have about 95% and are very satisfied. The drilled holes are very small and not noticeable unless you are looking for them. I highly recommend this company.

After two floods, we hired Start Renovation to renovate our basement. They came very highly recommended. We found Vugar and his team to be very professional.
