I have owned my company manufacturing tiny homes on wheels for five years now, so I have a wide range of experience and knowledge in homes and home building. From framing, drywall and paint, bathroom and kitchen renos, to electrical and plumbing, flooring and cabinets, I have had my hands on all of it over the years. Before starting my business in manufacturing, I was in charge of maintenance for an apartment complex near downtown Calgary, overseeing 192 units and their respective buildings. Some of my duties as a professional painter are as follows: Covering floors, light fixtures and furniture with drop cloths and tarps. Filling holes and cracks with putty or plaster. Preparing surfaces by either covering or removing outlets and switch covers, and by scraping or sanding to a smooth finish. I apply primers or sealers so the paint will stick to the surface where necessary. I apply paint, coatings , or other finishes using hand brushes, rollers or sprayers as needed.
