Sandro is very knowledgeable, professional, clean and efficient. We've used him 6 times in the past 12 years and we've recommended him to several friends and family. He's 'our guy' when it comes to bathroom and kitchen renovations. We trust him completely. He recently completed 2 bathroom renovations in our newly purchased duplex (back-to-back). One of the bathrooms required removing a walk-in closet and extending the bathroom. This required moving pipes, electrical, walls, pocket lights, door frame, and rebuilding walls, floor and ceiling. Sandro is very clean, polite and thoughtful. I worked from home during the renovations. We are very happy with the work and feel that the price is very fair for what he delivered.

I had an acoustic drywall renovation with this guy . Very chatty/nice person, but the work quality is not as standard as expected. The pre-preparation was a mess; they didn’t seal or move the furniture properly. Moreover, all the dust was blown inside my closet, so I need to take all my stuff out and wash it. We verbal agreement to clean up after the construction. And this is what I got—nothing 🙄 the dust is everywhere! As for the walls, you can get cheaper workers to produce the same quality.

The firm of plumbers that repiped our house also ripped more than 40 ugly, large holes in the drywall over several rooms. The place was a depressing eyesore, as if a bomb had hit. We wanted to find someone who could make the holes vanish again, as quickly as possible. We called Dan, who came over to see the work, gave a prompt quotation (one of three we obtained), and answered our questions in detail. We were looking for someone who would be dedicated to the job to its end, and could make decisions for himself, rather than a firm that would move a crew of no-name different workers in and out of our house to suit their other ongoing jobs. We had to live in the house while the work was going on, so we did not want an invasion by people who would not take care of our home or disappear before cleaning up (issues we had seen with the plumbers). Dan made very quick progress in filling the drywall holes, either with the sections that had been cut out (where suitable) or with pieces he had cut from a new sheet. After that he worked steadily at the mudding, sanding and painting. He tidied up as he went (including some of the rubble left the plumbers), and if he wanted to keep a tarp in place for an extended period, asked us about it. At the end of the process, it was difficult to believe that there had been any holes at all. He also dealt with several little problems that the plumbers, in their haste to leave, had left behind them. I was very, very pleased with the outcome. It's simply impossible to see where the holes used to be, even those that had been in hard to reach places. Whether you feel satisfied with a tradesman's work is not just a matter of the cost and the final product, but also depends on the experience of dealing with him. Dan is a master of drywalling and painting. He is a good communicator who works to a standard, and understands that he is working in someone's home.
