This was a terrible experience. I think Luke gave me a quote without looking at my roof. The quote was $3300. On the day the work was to begin, tore off the existing roof and told me the quote was now 11,000. Stay away from this vendor. Clearly that was well above my budget. Then did the job for 6500. I wish I never came in contact with him. Homestars used to be helpful. This was a disaster!

The duration of this job extended a little beyond what Chris originally predicted, but still very reasonable considering the complexity of the install. I appreciate that the time was taken to source a material I was fully satisfied with (other contractors claimed their options were limited). Chris and John did an excellent job, and Brittany was always prompt with replies throughout the booking process. I'm very pleased overall!

We are pleased to say that working with Genius renos was the best choice. We needed to make a full upgrade on our condominium apartment and the results are amazing. We had an initial discussions with the owner Geni as to our requirements for the kitchen and our two bathrooms and he had helpful suggestions to help us make design decisions as well. They converted our living space into a beautiful open entertainment area with a lovely kitchen, updated walls and laundry area. The team was absolutely amazing and Geni was a pleasure to work with. Their work was high quality and they were extremely respectful of our space and left everything clean and tidy at the end of the work day. The project involved a brand new kitchen, including custom made cabinets, countertop, sink, high end tap, lovely backsplash and beautiful replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted. Also, for the washrooms, replaced old vanities and showed with new custom made to fit our space in both washrooms. Our old tub in the master bathroom and tiled shower was replaced with a new sleek tub/shower with cultured marble tile walls and ceiling. The guest washroom was also completely re-modelled with a beautiful rain fall shower (which I am so in love). They also replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted the bathrooms. The final result were beautiful kitchen and bathrooms that we are very happy with. The job was completed in the estimated six weeks, even with unexpected extra work - when some rotting wood (from old leaks) and incorrect wiring was discovered. Geni and his crew are excellent at communicating and consulting with us on every detail and choice. We have no hesitation in recommending genius renovations. They are very pleasant to work with, and their standard of work is consistently excellent.

Allick built a tunnel for my cats to move from a window cat door to their catio on the patio. He used materials I had on hand and improved on my original idea to make the setup safer for both me and my cats. He was prompt and finished the job on time and on budget. There were no hidden costs or surprises, and he cleaned up the area before leaving. I would hire Al again.

Iain just finished fixing the damage to the stucco caused by the woodpecker and it looks great. If I don’t know it had been damaged I’d have a hard time pointing out where it was. When meeting he listened to my concerns and explained what needed to happen. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the work. I had several quotes for the job. I chose IRN due to his understanding of what I needed. I would highly recommend IRN to anyone who wants a great job at a good price within a decent time frame. Quality, value and kindness. I purchased a marble bench that had a velvet cushion that was a poor match for the bench. I engaged Kathy to reupholster the velvet cushion with black leather and to create stitching across the length of the cushion. I attended at her store and she patiently walked me through the options, provided me samples to take home and test out with my home lighting. I choose a leather product and proceeded to drop off the cushion, expecting the job to be completed in a month or so. 9 days later, I got a text from Kathy that the cushion was ready. The results in the photos below speak for themselves. The quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail reflect the pride she takes in her work. The price point was extremely reasonable and Kathy was a delight to work with. I highly recommend her services!
