tl;dr I had a fantastic experience with KitchenInstallation.ca Our basement flooded in July and our tiny laundry room was the last to be restored. Given the small job, I could have built the Ikea cabinets and install them myself, but I just didnt have the motivation to finish the laundry room. KitchenInstallation.ca was recommended by someone in our community Facebook group. I reached out to KitchenInstallation.ca for a quote. Alex, the owner, asked a lot of questions about the laundry room layout and our design goals and then gave us a detailed quote to complete the work. As an aside, I have a job where it is difficult for me to answer my personal phone during work hours so Alex communicated through text to keep the project moving. He arranged for two workers to complete our laundry room; one to build the cabinets, the other to install them. They were on-time and very nice to deal with. Because it was a laundry room, I was a bit indifferent about some aspects of the installation, including the filler pieces between the cabinets and the wall; but the installers were not. The filler pieces were cut perfectly and match our wavy walls with no gaps (its an old house). If you have ever built Ikea cabinets, you know how finicky their adjustable concealed cabinet hinges can be. All cabinet doors are perfectly aligned. The installers even bundled up all the cardboard for recycling. Alex sourced an ideal sink and even found a off-cut for the countertop to save some money. The invoice matched the quote with no surprises. We are very happy with our completed laundry room. It was a fantastic experience dealing with Alex and his crew.

As well as designing the space to be not only beautiful but so practical to use. Probably my favourite part of the project was the stunning floor they installed despite the challenges of the old house! Great team to work with and I would highly recommend!

Sever Homes took on our dream project and transformed the central living space in our home to one that we can’t imagine living without! The project came in on budget within the initial timelines agreed. The owner is an outstanding lead contractor and maintained a regular communication flow so we were kept updated on status constantly. The quality of finish is superb. He has a keen eye for function and design and he provided solid guidance at every key stage. He saved us precious time by directing us to selective third party vendors and even accompanied us on shopping trips and planning meetings to ensure all involved collaborated in an effective manner, thereby keeping the pace of progress on track. When we met with any unexpected complexities/challenges he provided solid rationale for workable solutions, always upholding the integrity of the design. He is well respected within the industry, as evidenced by the strong relationships he has with a stand-up group of sub-trades. I had a pipe burst last winter, which gutted my basement bathroom. Anton and his team did an amazing job renovating the entire bathroom. I would rather go to the basement bathroom now than to the ones upstairs! They also added beautiful sandstone tiles to my front steps and my backyard, replacing aged concrete. When I was hired as a Project Manager and GC to oversee a whole home reno, in a century old home in toronto, I was thrilled. The first step for me was reaching out to Evan at Column and Joist to be sure they would be available to join me on the project and take care of the (rather major) amount of structural and concrete work we had to do. We were very happy to have James and the LBM crew in our home to help us design and build a beautiful loft area in our kids play room. The original space was a hidden unusable attic which was transformed into the funnest play space with ladder and slide! We love the layout, the functionality (they even added a long storage closet at the back of the room which is amazing) and design. We absolutely love the addition of the window so we can watch the kids play and this also allows beautiful light into the space. We're very happy with this project and look forward to working with James and his team again soon!

We are pleased to say that working with Genius renos was the best choice. We needed to make a full upgrade on our condominium apartment and the results are amazing. We had an initial discussions with the owner Geni as to our requirements for the kitchen and our two bathrooms and he had helpful suggestions to help us make design decisions as well. They converted our living space into a beautiful open entertainment area with a lovely kitchen, updated walls and laundry area. The team was absolutely amazing and Geni was a pleasure to work with. Their work was high quality and they were extremely respectful of our space and left everything clean and tidy at the end of the work day. The project involved a brand new kitchen, including custom made cabinets, countertop, sink, high end tap, lovely backsplash and beautiful replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted. Also, for the washrooms, replaced old vanities and showed with new custom made to fit our space in both washrooms. Our old tub in the master bathroom and tiled shower was replaced with a new sleek tub/shower with cultured marble tile walls and ceiling. The guest washroom was also completely re-modelled with a beautiful rain fall shower (which I am so in love). They also replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted the bathrooms. The final result were beautiful kitchen and bathrooms that we are very happy with. The job was completed in the estimated six weeks, even with unexpected extra work - when some rotting wood (from old leaks) and incorrect wiring was discovered. Geni and his crew are excellent at communicating and consulting with us on every detail and choice. We have no hesitation in recommending genius renovations. They are very pleasant to work with, and their standard of work is consistently excellent.
