When we bought our townhouse in 2021, my wife's only condition was that we put in a deeper tub. Well, it took us 4 years to get our act together but it's finally done, we absolutely love it and we have Larry and his team to thank. We were very indecisive about everything other than the deep tub and Larry helped us through all decisions. The project went so smoothly. Demo and drywall by Andrew, plumbing by Tommy, tiles by Gabe and Loretto, electrical by James and paint by Steve. Any deficiencies were few, minor and addressed promptly. Larry was fully transparent on costs allowing us to stick to our budget. Overall we're really happy and will be reaching out to Larry again for all future renovation projects.

Avoid This Company At All Costs! We hired Kitchen and Bath Home for a main floor renovation and moved out for over two months based on their verbal 6–8 week timeline. Despite repeated requests, they refused to provide a written schedule. In that time, actual work occurred on maybe 10–20 days. Days often passed with no one on-site, and progress only resumed after repeated escalations. There was no active project oversight—no updates, no check-ins, and no final walkthrough. Communication was minimal unless it involved payment, which they aggressively pursued—even threatening to withhold cabinetry until payment was made early, despite the contract stating “payment upon delivery.” No formal contract or legal terms were provided—just a basic pricing sheet. Their lack of planning, poor communication, and disorganized execution made for an incredibly stressful experience. For a company advertising premium service, the reality was anything but. Throughout the project, Mark and his team maintained communication. They were always responsive to our questions and concerns, which made the entire process stress-free. I had a great experience working with Grand Building and Contracting Ltd. I hired them to remove and construct a new garage. Adam and his team understood the entire scope of the work. I was provided with a detailed schedule, timelines, and estimate before commencing the project. There was an issue with a city tree on my neighbour's property that had to be dealt with. Other contractors vanished at this point in the project. Adam guided me on what steps I had to take and the necessary paperwork I needed to file with the city over the course of seven months. When the project was finally approved, the trades workers were on time, highly skilled, professional and efficient. Adam was there at the beginning and end of every part of the construction. I greatly appreciated the regular communications I received. He even made sure my neighbours were satisfied with how the construction was effecting them. I can't say enough positive things about Grand Building and Contracting Ltd. I will use them again for my next project.
