Antonio and his team were prompt and polite, but better yet did a fabulous job! Most of the companies I contacted before using Homestars, were not interested in doing because it was too small (only one wall). They had a good price point and did a fabulous job. I would highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure working with Timo and TOP Construction on our condo renovation. From the start Timo was extremely professional and very easy to communicate with. He was extremely responsible dealing with the condo building management and took it upon himself to always communicate with them for everything that needed approval. Timo completely put a new life on a condo which had not had work done on it in 40 years with new flooring, paint, and helping source and fit new updated appliances, and many finishing touches from big to small. His attention to detail and suggestions were amazing and helped us so much. Timo is very friendly and personable, and we could not ask for a better person to have done this job. Highly recommend Timo and TOP Construction.

We own a one hundred year old semi detached home in East York. The house had been renovated several times in the past, but was in desperate need of a complete redesign. We completely gutted the entire interior, opened up the main floor and reconfigured the basement and second floor. We added a bedroom over the kitchen at the back, and converted the mud room on the front back to a porch. We also added new roofs, siding and trim. We were immediately impressed by Simon and his team. Their ability to effectively cost out our project, provide detailed budgets and help us negotiate this huge project cannot be understated. They were excellent at communicating and liaised with our architect and our engineer seamlessly. Simon walked us through the permit process, and was available to help troubleshoot obstacles. He and his team were always willing give my wife and I sage advice on design or layout details when asked. They have also renovated my neighbour's house and are in talks to renovate the house of a close friend. Hire them.

Lucas was recommended to me for this project by my realtor as their go to contractor. Lucas was brought on, on short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. Lucas was able to provide a detailed quote outlining the work needed to be done and the approximate time frame to which he could complete said project. The work was done with very few delays due to circumstances out of both party's hands. Any issues brought up with the work (however minimal they were) were dealt with and rectified immediately. Lucas was very responsive to all forms of communication and professional throughout the project. I would definitely use Batt Builds for my next project and recommend them to anyone else in the area looking for a contractor.

I also work in surrounding areas including Fort York & Liberty Village. Service calls are billed per minute at $80 per hour plus cost of parts & materials. There is a $40 minimum per visit, but most jobs take 30-minutes or less! I’m happy to provide you a free quote in advance, and I can buy materials if required.

Working with Rennot to have my sliding barn doors replaced with pocket doors was a real pleasure. Rennot and his team are very service-oriented, polite, respectful, collaborative, and Rennot didn't make a move without first consulting me, regardless of how small the detail was. I can also add that Rennot is meticulous in his work and very conscientious about providing the highest quality. They cleaned at the end of every day and even washed the floor at the end of the job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. One of the reasons I hired him was that his online profile shows him actually doing the work. Any contractor can show you a bunch of pictures, knowing that they personally had nothing to do with the work being shown. Currently, I am working with Rennot on the next two projects in my home, lighting and painting. I have full confidence that the work will be top quality.

I needed some work done to update the basement and some room upstairs. I found it difficult to find a reliable good working contractor that would not leave me in a lurch. I found Ben the Builder. I was pleasantly surprised with his work and work ethic. He listen to what I needed and delivered all at a reasonable price. He called when he knew he would not be able to work. He also provided regular updates as to progress or called if there were any questions or concerns. Good all around jack of all trades.
