I hired Michael for a bathroom renovation. He started with a very detailed quote that made it very clear to me what I should expect. As the project evolved and I requested some modifications, he was great at adapting, providing recommendations and solutions. The new bathroom looks great, and his price was very fair. I would definitely hire him again for other projects.

Hired AAAHS to repair wall in my basement and was quoted the price. I informed the company that the job would require painting. AAAHS arrived late and proceeded to repair wall. He patched the wall and said his job did not include sanding or painting. I don’t understand why he would think that we would just want the wall repaired and not painted. I pointed out that is not what I wrote in my message and was told he gets thousands of messages a day regarding jobs, so it’s not his problem that he can not keep track of what the job entails. I could have gotten the job done in completion by another person for less money. I was left very confused and angry. This company needs to work on their communication skills and provide proper estimates so the client knows exactly what they are paying for and not be tricked into retaining their service and in the end the job that is completed is incomplete.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service provided. Akram went above and beyond, and both he and his son are truly exceptional and master craftsman. It is a family business and their pride, detailing and customer service really shines. Their planning efforts, communication, design choices, contractual management and installation was seamless. They are insightful, honest and really care about the work they provide. The custom desk area was exceptional. I had several ppl come in to give me design ideas and quotes for this narrow/small space (which doesn't seem like it from the photo, but trust me - it is neither big nor wide), and designers struggle with this space. Sansil's pricing is competitive and very reasonable. This area of my home was a tension and draining space to be in prior. My whole family now loves this space and we now have bets to see who will work from here :) Thank you for everything!!!!!

Install or renovate stairs- 11 Jun 2025
We were looking for a provider to make and install oak treads on our stairs. Jose from VDR worked with us to fully understand our needs. During our visit I mentioned that we were replacing about 900 sq ft of carpeted floors on our second level with hardwood and he mentioned that VDR also did hardwood floor installation. We hired VDR for both jobs. Their pricing was fair and competitive and and we were provided with a detailed statement work. Hardwood installation was completed in 2 days and completed about a week after agreeing to work with VDR. The stairs included new oak treads and risers. In total, the work took 4 days - the first day to remove the carpet, tackboard and staples and to measure the existing treads (the treads are not all the same size and some are angled) and then 3 days to install the new treads once they'd been manufactured and stained. We are very happy with the end result.

We were super impressed with Great Wall Masonry. They were the mid-point of 3 quotes. Their quote was detailed with thorough explanation of what the job entailed, additional options to consider (and why), and specific timelines. The details and professionalism provided reassurance we found a quality contractor. The job itself consisted of removing old bricks and installing 2 new window sills (on third level), as well as repairing some concrete at foundation level (parging). The job was well done and job site thoroughly cleaned up post installation. Daniel and entire onsite crew were great to deal with. They were on time, polite, and excellent communicators. The job from start (quote) to finish (payment) was coordinated from their office by Brittany. Rarely, if ever, have I dealt with anyone so responsive and committed to ensuring the customer receives a quality service pre-post and during the job. I feel very comfortable recommending Great Wall Masonry.

An amazing vibe from the first moment we met Jerson-Daniel Estezo, which is means and says a lot and gives you a foundation to move from. Family business (check), started in 2009 (Check), run in part by the son, a passionate, young but experience star (right in the sweet spot) who loves his work, and is about common sense. Whatever you pay for the visit he gives you so much info about our house to help you understand how it works at a basic level. He made some amazing suggestions, and he's so passionate about the work that he asked to follow the project and offered other ways to help (connecting us to arborists) They also do windows for select customers which kills two birds with one stone. When I come one Homestars, this is what I'm looking for. Small businesses that care. We're still speaking to a few folks on windows as I just found out Estezo Estates even does them - but, what luck! Anyways this is the place to go for an honest group that feels like they are on your team.
