We'd like to start off this review with a HUGE, thank you to Dmitry and his amazing team of professionals! My husband and I had been contemplating finishing our basement for a few years now. However, like most people today, looking to pursue such a project we had a lot to consider.... The quality of work (of course), time to complete the project, and most of all the cost. With much thought we contacted five different companies both big and small to come into our home to see our space and provide us with what we hoped would be a honest and fair estimate base on our "VISION" and our "BUDGET" With allot to consider, we ultimately decided to go with Dmitry, and we are extremely happy we did!! Dmitry checked all the boxes..... - completion of the project was executed in a timely manner (ten weeks) - Dmitry provided options to purchase from his catalogue or choose our own finishes where Dmitry was very accommodating. - Communication was great. We always knew when any member of Dmitry's team would show up so that we were prepared. - And of course our budget. Dmitry's quote for this project was the most favourable in comparison to the other quotes we'd received. Even with adding in new finishes and details throughout the process. However, what truly sealed the deal for us was knowing that we would be dealing directly with Dmitry as our project manager. This was extremely important as we consider ourselves to be highly detailed and quality driven people. We had a very specific vision in mind which Dmitry was excited to take on and eager to tackle working closely with us to meet any and all expectations. The quality of craftsmanship and level of detail surly exceeded our expectations. A huge shout out to Vitaly (The Finisher), tile, flooring, painters, plumbers, electricians, drywall, and cleaning crews. We truly appreciate everyone's dedication and hard work. Finally, we are very proud to say.. we are the "SPEAKEASY" and we couldn't be more thrilled with our new, sexy basement!! Thanks again everyone for a truly amazing experience. I needed to remove and replace my basement flooring. My neighbour had work done by Ecolux Contracting and highly recommended them and as I had seen them around the neighbourhood doing work at various homes, I called them to take a look at the work I needed to be done and provide a quote. Jiyan of Ecolux Contracting assessed the work, provided suggestions and gave me a very reasonable quote and provided a timeline. Jiyan and his team started the job on time, moved the furniture, removed the old flooring and took care of the disposal. Together we chose the flooring, ordered it, and as soon as it arrived, it was installed. I am very pleased with the installation of the new flooring and baseboards. The workers were very experienced. So I had my front Patio replaced (Concrete work) along with some waterproofing done with parging. Their Crew was amazing. Great bunch of people and did a good job. Worked until job was complete and cleaned up after as well. No issues at all. And Josh was great to work with as well and since I could not be there, he sent me pics to keep me updated. I contacted Groundworks (formerly Clarke Basement Authority) as I was looking for a company to encapsulate my crawl space. Beginning with the initial meeting with Chris (quoted the job) to completion, the project ran smoothly. Lucio, Tai and Carter were the onsite crew that completed the work. They displayed a high level of organization, were professional, polite and had an excellent work ethic. I had several questions during the quote process and when the job was underway. The responses were always prompt and the time was taken to explain to me the project and how the work was being completed. Lucio, Tai and Carter kept the work area contained and were extremely tidy and respectful of my home. Throughout each day, Lucio provided me with regular updates that included pictures at various stages of the project. ELC came demo our 2 bathrooms to the bones redid the wood for the shower niche and for the floor to be lower so the shower pan that we chose would seat lower everything was amazing and fast great work guys.
