We are very pleased with the work of Kevin of Housecalls. He took great care with our small project (bathroom grab bar installation), exhibiting great patience with the challenge of working with the thick porcelain tile of the tub surround. Kevin was very easy to deal with, communicating promptly as needed, and was able to fit in our project in time for the visit of my elderly mother. His price was fair and the final bill was as quoted. Although my fence was repaired, the workers decided to nail holes into my PVC fence post in order to ensure the fence did not lean while the concrete was setting. Did not consult me about nailing holes into my fence. He suggested a work around to repair the damage, which he returned to do the next day, but only fixed 2 of the 3 holes he nailed into my fence post. Not to mention he just left the wood pieces in my neighbour garden and made a mess of the river rocks on my side of the fence. Also not to mention... they rescheduled my fence repair 2 times stating rain... the first time it did not end up raining that day and the 2nd time it rained... finally came on the 3rd scheduled time. Not a satisfied customer.

I hired this company to clean the gutters and add one downspout. The gutters are only 1.5 stories off the ground and about 45 feet in total. I was charged over $500 which I paid. I was home with my very alert dog on the day I was told the gutters were cleaned and I didn’t hear a thing. But I went on their word that they were cleaned. They kept delaying the downspout work over 3 months so I decided to cancel the work. This was in September and I was advised I would be refunded the amount of just over $300.
