I had the privilege of working with DWC General Contracting during my kitchen and laundry room restructuring / remodelling. The owner of the company (Donovan) and his designer came out for a consultation to review the job. I was annoyed when they were 20 minutes late as I had a virtual work meeting to attend. During the initial consultation, Donovan provided some great ideas but ideas come with a cost and I was on a budget. My original plan was to change the builder cabinet doors and replace the handles. This plan changed as I started seeing the vision Donovan had for the space. My kitchen is 10ft in height and did not have uppers. I should be ashamed to say that I had no idea what uppers were, but after viewing pictures of Donovans past projects I saw the benefit in filling the unused space. During our second meeting the idea of including a side by side fridge was presented. I did not believe this style of fridge would fit the space I had. Donovan and his designer surprised me with a 3D digital drawing of my kitchen on their iPad. I was blown away with the concept, but still considering the cost of all these changes. In order for the fridge to fit, it would need to be relocated and the laundry room which Im not particularly fond of would also need a face lift. The kitchen drawing also provided changes to my laundry room and butler area. By pushing the laundry room wall back 6inches it would accommodate the side by side fridge with the water line being installed. Losing space was my next question and thats when the butler area idea was introduced. Donovan asked me how much I enjoyed doing laundry and spending time in the laundry room. I must say doing laundry is a chore I can do without. The suggestion of pushing the other wall from the laundry room which backs on to the butler area 16 inches would allow for additional cabinets to be installed. This job was looking extremely expensive but also extremely attractive. My eyes got bigger than my pocket and I told Donovan I was ready to proceed with the work. After years of a global pandemic and working from home, I was in need of an environmental change. The deposit structure was fair and the start date was scheduled three weeks later. My luck there were minor structural changes along the way but Donovan worked with me to keep the cost as low as possible. The water line became an issue as my basement was completed. Donovans team of workers were able to cut specific area of my basement ceiling to account for plumbing and the new gas line for a gas stove I never thought I would want. The job took a little longer than expected but I was extremely happy with the end result. The DWC team were all professional, courtious and friendly towards my daughter who would find herself getting in their way at times. Donovan stated he was a father and understood. When Donovan asked if I would provide a review I gladly accepted. He may have been late the first time, but he ended everything perfectly. Thanks to DWC I have an entire new kitchen, laundry room and butler area. Upon completion of the job Donovan had a team of two staff clean the main floor and basement as a thank you for employing them. Thank you DWC and I look forward to my next project. Hopefully next time youll show up on time the first time.

We've not hired a contractor before, so the process of choosing the right one was daunting. We read the positive reviews about Level Q Renovation and Design, and heard about them from our neighbours, before choosing this team for our bathroom renovation. Good reports are one thing, but what we appreciated most upon meeting Ehab and his team, was we felt comfortable with them as they worked. During the three week renovation, each member of the team was respectful, quiet, clean in their work, and very efficient. We felt safe to have them here, and were even able to leave the house when needed, without worry. The job began and ended on time, at the cost that was quoted. Our new bathroom is absolutely beautiful and functions very well! The owner, Ehab, and crew members Nasser and Ahmed are truly professionals in their countenance and in their work. Suffice to say, we have already recommended Level Q to our friends!

Hired X & H Construction thru a big box stores installation services because of their very competitive and fair pricing, which included a $2000 discount. The work performed was to create a powder room in a bedroom, remove old copper piping to be replaced by PVC and to replace a mouldy ceiling in another bathroom. The work was completed in 3 days and we couldnt be happier with the outcome. There was a lot of messages going back and forth as we had plenty of questions but Carrie Who is the project coordinator was very helpful every step of the way. All in all, we are very pleased with how the powder room looks and operates. Their team was very professional and courteous. Would absolutely hire them again for future porjects! Great work X&H team!

Both decks are not only beautiful, but still going strong after 10 years. In 2022, Drew replaced our fencing and gates, making significant improvements to the privacy in our yard. My Father used this service and was extorted. They walked off the job after my father, a senior, refused to pay more money. Please do not use this service. This job cost my father over $25k, a fake warranty was sold to him. Job was to include redoing the garage floor, installing new garage door, and garage door opener. Below are current pics of the floor - yes those are puddles. Garage door was left unattached, no opener provided. Framing of the garage door was crooked, and had to be redone. My Dad is over 80 years old. I just want to warn everyone not to be fooled! garage door and opener purchased - door not installed, opener not received or installed Garage floor removed and replaced - cracked cement, water seeping in months later. Cracks to internal wall of the house. Sold warrant - did not honour, or provide details of what is included in warranty.

I am very happy with the job Argan Landscaping did for me. My walkway and stairs look amazing. My landscape contractor was friendly, professional and delivered as promised. We were extremely pleased with the work done by AMV contractors. They fixed an exterior wall that was crumbling away, they got an electrician in the pot in pot lights and add a fan upstairs. Then they painted our hallways, taking care to use a primer to seal the 25 year old oil/latex issues we were having and give us a nice bright hallway again. We will definitely be using them again in the future and highly recommend their work.
