Anthony was one of the first to respond to our request and arranged for an onsite visit to ensure he was able to provide us with an accurate quote. He and his team showed up on time and worked tirelessly through one of the hottest weeks this summer even though they had to fight with rocks and tree roots to complete the new post holes. We are extremely pleased with our new fence and would not hesitate to recommend Anthony and his team for your fencing project.

Project: Below grade entrance and finish basement Our requirement was to get a below-grade entrance and then complete our basement. Unfortunately, our journey to achieving this was nothing short of a nightmare. The first company we hired took our payment and vanished. The second company, which promised to complete the job in three weeks, dragged it out for a year with endless follow-ups, delivered the worst possible workmanship, and ultimately failed the inspection. They then abandoned the project entirely and wouldn’t even take our calls. After spending 1.5 times our budget and dealing with so much frustration, we lost all trust in contractors. Our basement project was put on hold indefinitely because we feared even more complications. Then, through a referral we engaged an engineer Tej from Vin Engineering Inc. to work with us on our legal basement. We wanted to maximize the space in the basement and he accommodate our request, provided some great suggestions to add value to the basement from a long term perpective. In the process of securing the approvals we discussed the issues with failed inspect for below grade entrance. Hearing our story he recommended Aozat Inc. with whom he had worked before. Hitesh and Parixit from Aozat Inc. listened to our concerns, patiently reviewed the failed inspection issues, and provided a clear quote and timeline to complete the project. Given our skepticism and trust issues, they were incredibly flexible, breaking the contract into phases to accommodate us and build our confidence with them. The entire Aozat team was patient, understanding, and professional throughout. They made this entire process easy for us. They always accommodated our requests and never once showed frustration. All approvals were secured at the required stages, ensuring a smooth and compliant process. What stood out most was how the owner and the lead manager of Aozat of the company kept us grounded on costs, making sure we didn’t exceed our budget. Their transparency and honesty were truly commendable. The basement turned out fantastic. We didn’t have to oversee anything, the speed, efficiency in managing different contractors, and their professionalism were admirable and exceeded our expectations. We decided to underpin our home in the Beaches, but we were worried about the water table and potential flooding. FoundationGuard really put us at ease by doing digging tests beforehand to make sure everything was clear before they started. That extra attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence in their work. Once the project got underway, the team was responsive, professional, and efficient. They installed steel beams for extra support, added a drainage layer for waterproofing, and installed a backflow valve to protect against future water issues. We also decided to add in-floor heating, and they handled it without any hiccups. The whole process went smoothly, and they kept us in the loop the entire time. The quality of their work speaks for itselfour home feels secure, and we couldnt be happier. If youre considering an underpinning project, we highly recommend them!

Chris was incredibly knowledgable and helped select the garage door, rubber seals, and capping that matched the colour of my existing windows and entrance door. He and his team expertly installed my new garage door and made sure it properly functioned before leaving the job site. The new exterior capping was perfect and I was pleasantly surprised to see caulking installed at all the joints. I highly recommend Highbury Doors for garage door installations.

We decided to go with Vantage after speaking with a few contractors because, right off the bat, my wife and I could tell how knowledgeable Peyman was. Our job was a drop-beam removal in the basement ceiling to get a clean, flat ceiling and make the room feel larger. Vantage handled everything end-to-end: dust containment, temporary shoring, coordination with the structural engineer, permit and inspections, and replacing the old drop beam with a flush structural beam recessed between the joists. The difference is huge—no more bulkhead cutting across the room, better sightlines, and a much more open feel. They finished within the agreed timeframe, kept us updated at each step, and left the site clean every day. Pricing was transparent, the crew was respectful of our home, and the craftsmanship shows in the perfectly level ceiling and neat drywall/finishing around the new beam. If you’re considering wall/beam work or basement drop-beam removal, we highly recommend Vantage and Peyman.

A bit ambivalent here. Hired Shane to fix my roof, which out of fairness he did. Problem is that he also damaged my deck and then ghosted me. It's been about three months of a damaged deck with vague and periodic promises about fixing it. A bit of a frustrating experience. So I guess really, just be really careful to make sure that any extra damage is taken care of before you pay.

Mike completed a number of different tasks and did a really great job. He looked at any issues and figured out possible solutions before starting the job. Based on my previous experience, in my opinion, this is very important and needs to be highlighted as it differentiates an excellent contractor from the rest. It should be noted that he is a punctual, hard worker who cares about his work. He has earned our trust. We are in process of planning additional renovations to the home and it is our intention for Mike to be part of the design and planning stage, in addition to being the main contractor to complete the renovations. We look forward to working with Mike in the future.
