It was a pleasure working with Timo and TOP Construction on our condo renovation. From the start Timo was extremely professional and very easy to communicate with. He was extremely responsible dealing with the condo building management and took it upon himself to always communicate with them for everything that needed approval. Timo completely put a new life on a condo which had not had work done on it in 40 years with new flooring, paint, and helping source and fit new updated appliances, and many finishing touches from big to small. His attention to detail and suggestions were amazing and helped us so much. Timo is very friendly and personable, and we could not ask for a better person to have done this job. Highly recommend Timo and TOP Construction.

Our vision was for an open plan main floor for our 100yr old urban semi, custom kitchen, and a fireplace! We interviewed 4 contractors and were most impressed with Home Gurus. They were professional and knowledgeable, they communicated how the process would go, what to expect and provided a detailed project breakdown of costs! They provided a detailed timeline and a weekly update of progress. They kept in touch with any unexpected updates or changes so there were no surprises! Build or renovate basement- 5 Dec 2025
Zejlko was a pleasure to work with. He was warm, professional and very clear is all of his interactions with us before and during the build. He truly listened to our needs and requests. The time from initial visit to starting the job was a few days only and he completed the work in just over a week. His work in all areas was high class. What made Zejlko special was he had to work alone on all but 1 of the days on site. The weather was awful on two of his days on site but he drove with no issues and worked full days. We cannot recommend Art-Deco carpentry more highly. Don't hesitate to choose Zejlko!

I had a great experience working with Grand Building and Contracting Ltd. I hired them to remove and construct a new garage. Adam and his team understood the entire scope of the work. I was provided with a detailed schedule, timelines, and estimate before commencing the project. There was an issue with a city tree on my neighbour's property that had to be dealt with. Other contractors vanished at this point in the project. Adam guided me on what steps I had to take and the necessary paperwork I needed to file with the city over the course of seven months. When the project was finally approved, the trades workers were on time, highly skilled, professional and efficient. Adam was there at the beginning and end of every part of the construction. I greatly appreciated the regular communications I received. He even made sure my neighbours were satisfied with how the construction was effecting them. I can't say enough positive things about Grand Building and Contracting Ltd. I will use them again for my next project. I highly recommend that anyone give them an opportunity; you will not be disappointed.

Carlos and team did a phenomenal job constructing a fence and deck for my above ground pool. Carlos was available for every appointment we had with the pool installers and was super flexible with all the changes I made as the project evolved. His workmanship was top notch, always on time and kept us informed through the project. Carlos is also a kind soul and very easy to work with. It felt like more of a friendship then a business relationship. Funny, easy to talk to and he was excellent with explaining how the project would be managed. Peter was the only contractor who showed up on site to review the work to be performed. He also showed up on time when he said he would. There were aspects to the job that were not anticipated, but his additional costs were reasonable. We are really happy with the finished work, it looks amazing! I would recommend Peter to anyone, and we plan on hiring him again soon to do other work.

We started out with a small Job fix some ikea kitchen cabinets and do some trim work. We then also hired them to pain some exterior shutters. and fix some stairs and floors. Then the storm hit and we decided to replace our floors do some water proofing, and touchoup paint. Keegan and his crew are great and I highly recomend them. there was a small issue with our stairs and they ended up fixing it for free. IF you ahve a job and you are not sure who to call, look no further.
