They handled everything, from power washing and re-sanding our front porch to installing new pavers and levelling flagstones in the back garden. The crew worked efficiently and completed the entire project in just one day - on schedule and exactly as promised. Vince's personal oversight and the team's attention to detail were exceptional. They ensured every element was perfectly aligned and finished to a high standard. I also appreciated how the crew took the time to clean up properly. Chris was incredibly knowledgable and helped select the garage door, rubber seals, and capping that matched the colour of my existing windows and entrance door. He and his team expertly installed my new garage door and made sure it properly functioned before leaving the job site. The new exterior capping was perfect and I was pleasantly surprised to see caulking installed at all the joints. I highly recommend Highbury Doors for garage door installations.

This was the only firm that agreed to replace a large double-glazed pane of glass without replacing the frame. George and his crew did an amazing job of getting out the old glass without damaging the original frame. The cost was a fraction of what it would have cost to replace the frame and the appearance of the house was not altered.

Wonderful experience and job well done. Special thanks to Michael for heading the crew and getting the work done ahead of time. The backyard grading along the property line between my neighbour and myself happens to be quite contentious. It has been mediated by the Richmond Hill Grading Department (RHGD) who have been quite understanding and reasonable in their handling of the situation. When the request came from the RHGD on what was needed on my side, a call was put in to Greenlane Landscaping to estimate the job and provide details on when it could be done. They, in fact, were the only landscaping company that answered my call. Michael, their landscape architect, came by and scoped out the job. It was done in a professional and congenial manner. The terms were agreed fairly shortly after that (regrade of the the area and resod as needed) and the date was set. There was a wrinkle in that the job date had to be pushed forward to meet the needs of RHGD and that was accommodated by Greenlane. When the date came, Greenlane sent a professional crew supervised by Michael, and they did a highly professional job. The crew was congenial and and empathetic in their relations. The job was completed to a first rate standard. the sod and soil provided were excellent and the instructions provide to keep the sod growing were easy to follow. In fact, the sod is the best grass I have in my backyard. There have been no issues with RHGD regarding the work done so far on my side of the property line. Thank you Greenlane on a job well done.

The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.

One too many times, you get contractors that you wished you hadn't welcomed into your home. Definitely not the case with Sal's Renovations. From initial estimate, to job completion, they are consummate professionals. Friendly, courteous, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond in the care with which they considered materials for our job, ensuring we had a proper estimate with appropriate attention to details, and in how they handled themselves on a day to day basis in our home. Even though this job in particular was a smaller project, Sal and Arie still dedicated themselves wholeheartedly, working diligently throughout.
