I worked for various Calgary based companies over the years but always knew that I had my own way of doing things to a high standard. I had owned my own company when we lived in England. So I decided that if I wanted to excel my clients expectations I needed to once again create my own company, so Phoenix Contractors and Reno’s was formed. I worked within the family business when I was growing up learning my trades: Drywalling, Stone Masonry and Tiling to name a few. We take on all types of contracts and renovations big or small. We aim to complete all our projects to a very high standard within budget and time frame.

John is a hard worker, definitely not a lazy guy. He is honest and got the job done in a timely fashion. He listened to what I was looking for and accommodated well. Fireplace stone looks great.

We have had the pleasure of working with Flann Fence and Deck for two deck projects and the replacement of our fence and gates over the years. Drew and his team have always done an exceptional job. Both decks are not only beautiful, but still going strong after 10 years. In 2022, Drew replaced our fencing and gates, making significant improvements to the privacy in our yard. Drew is not only honest and reliable, but highly skilled. His work is built to last, reasonably priced, and always on schedule. We have received many compliments over the years! Recently we hired Drew (Flann Contracting) to complete a renovation of our master bathroom and we couldn't be happier - the result is absolutely stunning! Completed to perfection, on budget and on schedule. We will continue to use Flann Contracting for all of our projects, they are by far the best! Drew always goes above and beyond to ensure the finished result is beyond our expectations.

We were very happy to have James and the LBM crew in our home to help us design and build a beautiful loft area in our kids play room. The original space was a hidden unusable attic which was transformed into the funnest play space with ladder and slide! We love the layout, the functionality (they even added a long storage closet at the back of the room which is amazing) and design. We absolutely love the addition of the window so we can watch the kids play and this also allows beautiful light into the space. We're very happy with this project and look forward to working with James and his team again soon!
