He is a contractor that brought in workers to complete the work. We met on the first day, and agreed to set work hours (8 to 5) The hours were not met on any of the days. There were days that they showed up as late as 12:30 and would want to work to 7pm. There was a total disrespect of our home, by not covering floor or counters during demolition (until we asked), placing work tools (hammers/pry bars) in our bathroom sink causing damage, leaving patio door open during a rain storm resulting in puddles on our dining room floor, always leaving front door open after repeatedly being asked to keep it closed, used wooden retaining wall as a work bench for soldering pipe which resulted in scorch marks, not securing garbage. There was poor communication between the contractor and us during the renovation. With that being said, the contractor did try and rectify some of the issues that we had. Over all we were disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and the quality of the work.

I posted a job on here in October 2023 to have the 2 small walls in my sun room (11 feet each in length) renovated - remove the old screen walls and replace them with framed drywall walls and a door to the outside. The door was to be an inexpensive 32 door with a window. Despite Rez having measured everything he did not realize he could not install an outward swinging door because it would hit the roof of my gazebo on my deck. It was his helper that noticed this during framing and offered the suggestion of sliding patio doors. Rez asked for an additional $500 for this change. I paid him immediately - the same day. It took months for the patio doors to be delivered and he promised they would be installed while I was on holiday from Jan 23 to 30, 2024. I came home and they were not installed. 2 weeks later he came and installed them. They are not level and do not latch or lock. Ive contacted him repeatedly to return and fix them and complete the job. There is still more drywalling to do, windows and doors to be trimmed and interior walls to be painted. He says he doesnt do exterior work in the winter - but he took 90% of the cost of the job before Christmas 2023! There is also exterior siding to be done and this also remains incomplete. This has been an awful experience and extremely stressful. This project started in November 2023 and is still not done.

They did a decent job of stamped and aggregate concrete for my lawn and backyard. But disappointed with their after work customer service and response. Few cracks showed up, but did nothing about it. Few spots with broken coating, but did nothing about it. When they layer gravel on the sides of the concrete, did not do a proper layering of the black material before putting the gravel, within a year grass started to grow. Wanted to get a proper drain because backyard neighbour raised issue, but did nothing about it. Basically they dont respond to you once they are completed, paid off and gone. Disappointing that even if its a big work and you had treated them cordially, upon fall up later they ignore you blatantly.

I was originally happy with the service. Then I actually looked at it in the light the next day. I had two doors installed. A double door and a single door. All three doors were new and I provided pre-made door jams from Home Depot. The double doors hit each other when you close the doors at the same time. The door latches look horrible and the single door clearly had the hole for the handle cut in the wrong spot and was filled with silicone to hid this. Now I have to replace the one glass door $200, replace the double door jam $75 and have the job done over. $300 for the instal $200 to replace the door $75 to replace door jam I have now lost $575 and the headache of doing this over again.

Was given a low range quote and a high range quote for a fairly simple job. He came and we found out the job wasn't possible. That was fine. What was less fine is that he still charged the high range quote. Edit: After the original review Ali reached out and refunded $45. There was some miscommunication but overall his service was good and I would recommend him.

Mabda (Ben) is a someone you should avoid at all costs. He charged me $350+HST for fixing a sink at a condo I own. I trusted the work would be done and did not follow up to confirm. Buyer beware, the sink was not fixed at all! If he challenges this review, I have receipts showing what I paid, and pictures that show it was never fixed. Stay away!! The best/funniest part is, he flooded my toilet when he was there too just my luck! Read the reviews and don't waste your time. The good ones are probably fake.
