We hired L.R Pro Painting to paint our condo. We are beyond impressed with their workmanship and work ethics. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. They finished on time and even came back to touch up a couple of things. They even fixed and painted the ceiling and didn't charge for it.Lek was wonderful and a pleasure to deal with. We recently used Master Homes Contracting to renovate two bathrooms. Anton came to the house to discuss the project and offer some advice as to the design aspect of what we were doing. We found him very knowledgeable, he made recommendations as to the layout and gave us a clear idea of what the project would look like when completed. We received a detailed quotation within a few days, numerous options with pricing. With some conversation we were comfortable with the quotation and agreed to move ahead. We were then introduced to Ashley who would be our design contact throughout the project. We had done the usual visits to the home stores and to be honest were a little overwhelmed, we really needed some direction and advice. Ashley made it so easy, she supplied numerous choices, with pricing, for each of the components from tile to taps, and really helped us with every selection, for us, that expertise saved weeks of wandering the aisles trying to figure out what we wanted. Once decided, Ashley ordered everything for us and had it delivered to our house. The crew showed up to start the demo on the agreed date, immediately covered my hardwood hall and stairs to avoid any damage as they removed the debris, they were careful to try to limit the dust as much as possible but by nature its a dusty job. Execution was flawless, we did have to make some decisions as to the waterproofing behind the new shower, Anton gave us three options with and actually recommended the LEAST expensive one for what we needed. We had a vacation planned that happened to fall in the middle of the project. We were so comfortable with Anton and his crew, we gave him a key, they continued working while we were away. The project was completed just as we got back, we were so pleased with the results. Both bathrooms look amazing, certainly exceeding our expectations, they even added undercabinet LED accent lighting, not included in the original quote but they thought we would like it. They were right, it added a whole spa like look to the bathroom. The project was completed a few weeks ago but I held off on my review as I knew there would be some minor call backs, there always are with any reno. The true test of a contractor is how well they handle the call backs. A flickering pot light, a sticky drawer on the vanity, they were there next day, resolved without question, we were very impressed. We did add some extras to the project as it progressed but overall they were on budget per their original quote. As a contractor Master Homes ticked all the boxes. On time, on quote, knew what they were doing, all the assistance we needed, daily updates on the project, immediate attention to the callbacks, and probably the most important factor, Trust. We will use them again for our next project without any hesitation, there are so many horror stories out there it was a pleasure and a relief to find a good honest contractor that goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with the results. - Huijong and Victoria did an amazing job on our powder room where previously the walls, baseboards and door had bubbled/blistered from moisture damage. It looks as good as new now. - An upstairs closet was painted beautifully (so new shelving can be put in). - Our front door was repainted navy and the inside white. Very professionally done, with very clean edges!! - Huijong was a very good communicator and listened well from the beginning to what we wanted done, understood and offered good suggestions that we implemented. The finished work was excellent!! - Will look to this company for future painting needs!! Annette

We needed help with replacing some older light switches with new programmable. Mehdi provided the quote, we agreed on the timing. He was very punctual, completed all the work on time and very accurately. Mehdi also provided some suggestions for further improvements in the home electrical system. Hugo Velez is a consummate professional. He's personable, listens well, and is willing to give his opinion when asked. I hired him to paint several rooms of my house, and he did an excellent job. He also repainted my porch, and then offered to paint it again with his own paint supply because he felt a darker colour would look better (he was right). He also replaced my kitchen floor and the tiles look amazing. Unlike other contractors, Hugo doesn't consider himself finished until you are completely satisfied. He won't disappear when the job is "done," leaving you with incomplete work. He's fast and efficient, and considers returning to fix the touch up spots part of the job. My house looks beautiful now and I couldn't be happier. I would definitely hire Velez General Reno again.

We are pleased to say that working with Genius renos was the best choice. We needed to make a full upgrade on our condominium apartment and the results are amazing. We had an initial discussions with the owner Geni as to our requirements for the kitchen and our two bathrooms and he had helpful suggestions to help us make design decisions as well. They converted our living space into a beautiful open entertainment area with a lovely kitchen, updated walls and laundry area. The team was absolutely amazing and Geni was a pleasure to work with. Their work was high quality and they were extremely respectful of our space and left everything clean and tidy at the end of the work day. The project involved a brand new kitchen, including custom made cabinets, countertop, sink, high end tap, lovely backsplash and beautiful replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted. Also, for the washrooms, replaced old vanities and showed with new custom made to fit our space in both washrooms. Our old tub in the master bathroom and tiled shower was replaced with a new sleek tub/shower with cultured marble tile walls and ceiling. The guest washroom was also completely re-modelled with a beautiful rain fall shower (which I am so in love). They also replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted the bathrooms. The final result were beautiful kitchen and bathrooms that we are very happy with. The job was completed in the estimated six weeks, even with unexpected extra work - when some rotting wood (from old leaks) and incorrect wiring was discovered. Geni and his crew are excellent at communicating and consulting with us on every detail and choice. We have no hesitation in recommending genius renovations. They are very pleasant to work with, and their standard of work is consistently excellent.

Paul and his team did an incredible job removing and replacing the caulking around our home. They took their time to carefully remove 3 layers of old caulking and did a masterful job with the colour matching and application of the new caulking. Their goal is to make the caulking disappear and they certainly achieved that! We are so impressed with Paul’s knowledge and work ethic. Work area was spotless when by the time they left. If you’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and has high attention to detail, Paul is your guy. PLUS! I would highly recommend David to anyone. He was prompt, courteous, thoughtful, and honest. He takes the time to explain what is involved with the job at hand. We discussed options that I was considering and he was very professional in helping me with my decision. He disassembled the table, placed it where it was to go and reassembled. He also was kind enough to do a couple of other jobs that I requested. I will definitely call on him again.
