we found SkyTouch Painting through a referral on social media. we initial had them paint our house to put on the market. They went above and beyond in preparation and in getting the job done in a timely fashion. Our bathroom had old wallpaper that they removed without a trace, and the patch work on drywall was immaculately done. Needless to say, they did such a fantastic job, that upon closing, we immediately hired them to paint our new house from top to bottom, and are again very happy.

From initial quote to finished job, AA Perfect Painting did an outstanding job. Communication was excellent, the price was reasonable and Artun and his crew took very good care of covering up all the surrounding area to ensure no paint mess was left behind. The crew arrived on time and completed the work in two days. I will be hiring them again whenever I need any painting done on our home. They did such a good job my attached neighbour had them do the same work on their home. I could not be happier with the work they did. They are also the nicest crew you could ask for. Very respectful of our property.

We contacted Filadelfia after working with three other contractors we weren't satisfied with. (The first one, a kitchen reno, cut all the ground wires during his install - no idea why. We found out a year later and had to rewire the kitchen. The second turned a month-long job into a 6 month saga. The third built a deck that we had to have fixed only a year later.) Needless to say, I was cautious. You can tell Rodney and his team were going to be different from the second you meet them. People of a certain age will understand what I mean when I say they are about the 'old school' service: They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They quoted and stuck to the quote. They kept their word. They did good work. They were respectful of the neighbours. They finished earlier than they promised. The whole package. Whereas other contractors would send one or two people, disappear for a few days, and then get back to it, there were usually 3 to 6 people from the Filadelfia team onsite the entire time. They wanted to get the job done - and done well - and get on to the next one. That's how I work, and I appreciate it in others. We have at least 4 more jobs to do, and we'll call Rodney for all of them.

We hired Beachcombers through HomeStars to fix our bathroom ceiling and we couldn't be more impressed. We had an urgent timeline because the real estate agent said it needed repairs before listing our house. Jeff came over and understood our situation and gave us a fair quote and said they could do it the next day. I was surprised that they showed up 20 minutes early. Mabda (Ben) is a someone you should avoid at all costs. He charged me $350+HST for fixing a sink at a condo I own. I trusted the work would be done and did not follow up to confirm. Buyer beware, the sink was not fixed at all! If he challenges this review, I have receipts showing what I paid, and pictures that show it was never fixed. Stay away!! The best/funniest part is, he flooded my toilet when he was there too just my luck! Read the reviews and don't waste your time. The good ones are probably fake.
