Mabda (Ben) is a someone you should avoid at all costs. He charged me $350+HST for fixing a sink at a condo I own. I trusted the work would be done and did not follow up to confirm. Buyer beware, the sink was not fixed at all! If he challenges this review, I have receipts showing what I paid, and pictures that show it was never fixed. Stay away!! The best/funniest part is, he flooded my toilet when he was there too just my luck! Read the reviews and don't waste your time. The good ones are probably fake.

William provided a great price and was super friendly. When working out the details he was was a much better Communicator than the other painters I was talking to on homestars. The stairway railings I had him paint look pretty good! The spatter though. There was paint spatter on EVERYTHING. The walls. The windows. Light switches. When the job was done I inspected the work and was pleased with the job. It wasn't until the next day that I noticed paint spanner all over the adjoining areas and fixtures. I contacted William and he offered to come back at no charge to clean it up but subsequent follow-ups did not result in a return visit. We're doing other Renovations anyways so spatter on the walls is no big deal. We're going to have to get the windows and window screen and light switches Etc cleaned or replaced. I had an acoustic drywall renovation with this guy . Very chatty/nice person, but the work quality is not as standard as expected. The pre-preparation was a mess; they didn’t seal or move the furniture properly. Moreover, all the dust was blown inside my closet, so I need to take all my stuff out and wash it. We verbal agreement to clean up after the construction. And this is what I got—nothing 🙄 the dust is everywhere! As for the walls, you can get cheaper workers to produce the same quality.

*****Beware of this company*****We needed a repair done to our chimney, they came and gave a "free" inspection which ended up costing me $300 - that should have been my first clue. But I paid it. they went up and took a look and provided me a quote for the work which was quite reasonable. I signed the contract and they proceeded the next day to do some removal of the existing crown which had cracked. During this, they allowed a big chunk of concrete to roll down the roof, break my eavestrough and create two big holes in the stucco wall of my neighbour! To add insult to injury and now with a big gaping hole in the fireplace i get a call from their office manager saying that they are going to need an additional $11k to finish the job. It was a hard no! I insisted to keep to the original contract but they said they couldnt because this was a "safety" issue - total shakedown!, needless to say they left the job, damage to my eavestrough and the wall, and threats to put leins on my house!Latest review:Install or repair chimney-Petr Novotny Novo Interiors

I have been restoring old homes in kitchener waterloo to their original glory for over 15 years. All my work comes with a 1 year warranty.
The job was supposed to take 4 days and we're currently on day 11 and its still not done. 12 tiles need replacing due to them popping up. Petr does not want to repair them. Multiple issues of no shows for the job and half days with different reasons each time. There is mortor all over our AC unit and siding due to the washing there buckets right beside the house. Also damaged drywall from removing the trim. I would not recommend him.

The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.Latest review:Wallsolvers.com
