I highly recommend Arthur and GoldenShepherd Contracting. We had a sudden shower leak and he was able to give us a very competitively priced estimate, start and end dates, and a detailed plan to prevent future leaks. We were very impressed with his expertise and professionalism during the course of re-tiling a shower and making it more waterproof, repairing a 3x3 ft drywall patch in the ceiling the plumbers had left, and compounding and painting the ceiling and walls. He was able to complete the work on time, stayed within his original estimate and performed excellent quality work. The shower came out stunning and the drywall patch repair was seamless and invisible (can't tell it was ever there). Arthur is a superb general contractor professional who is friendly, transparent, detailed and results oriented. John came in checked the job,gave an estimate, and I hired him to fix my stair railing. Took the system apart, found the problem, and tightened everything back to better than new. Even the finish coat on the repaired areas matched up with my 30 year old rail system. I couldn't have asked for better, the job area was cleaned and looked great. If you are looking to have your specific work completed in a reasonable amount of time and done right the first time, look no further than Theo at Yung T Custom Carpentry. If you have a big fear or uncertainty of whether or not the company or person you have hired is trustworthy and will be honest in getting the right job done, once again, Theo is your "go to" choice. Recently, my wife and I had an issue with bubbling paint on a portion of the ceiling in our primary bedroom. After putting an initial request out on the HomeStars site, Theo quickly contacted me and personally came out to our house within a couple of hours to have an in-person inspection of the situation. Having a strong feeling it might be some form of water/moisture problem, he headed directly to our attic. Suspecting an issue with our vents, he then turned his attention to our roof and discovered two of the vents with holes, caused by animals. Theo was quick to effectively repair and seal the holes in the vents before turning his attention to our bedroom ceiling. He did an outstanding job in repairing our ceiling, cutting out the damaged area and replacing it with drywall, followed by mudding, sanding and painting. In fact, he not only re-painted the ceiling but the entire room. The work Theo performed was flawless and my wife and I are extremely impressed with his diligence and eye for detail. Lazslo came in August, looked things over, made a plan and sent me an estimate. The shed is for my pool which I wanted to keep using during the summer and early fall, so we agreed to do the job in mid October. He started 23 Oct and finished 29 Oct. Need to start off by saying, wow! Errol and his team were absolutely fantastic. We had a pretty specific request to add wood matching our fence to our metal railings to make it safe for kids in the backyard, along with a gate at the bottom of the stairs. Errol came with clear, creative, aesthetic ideas and was very ready and responsive! We couldn’t be happier with the outcome, it’s more beautiful than we could’ve even imagined!
