DAntonio Landscaping and Maintenance, Laura (and her entire team), were exceptional in removing our old grass, grading and installing new sod! It is very evident that they used top quality sod that was freshly cut. They provided all the materials, removed all our previous debris and unwanted materials, and left the site spotless! They also worked flawlessly in tandem with the sprinkler system company that was installing new water sprinklers. Laura is very hard working, she made our experience seamless in helping us decide on the scope of the job, providing input and vision to design a new look, providing a quote, and, having her team execute a perfect job! Amazing team work! They are friendly, responsive, experienced, and knowledgeable. Laura was present to manage and oversee the entire job from the moment we met her. I bought a newly-renovated house only to find that the HVAC system didn't cool the top floor or half of the main floor. There was also only 1 functional return duct in the entire house, which was tiny. While gathering quotes, Brad came in and offered a thoughtful and cost-effective plan for solving the problem. Over 2 days his crew selectively opened up the basement to solve the problem. They were able to get airflow to the first and second floors and add return ducts with minimal mess. They removed redundant ductwork which made my basement bedroom larger. Months later, the house was cold and the furnace was running 24/7 nonstop. Brad's tech return and thoroughly cleaned and adjusted the settings on the furnace. He worked with a camera crew I booked to inspect all the ducts and recommend repairs. He even purchased equipment that told us the ceiling and walls were under-insulated. I'm happy to say we're on a path to a warm home now thanks to Brad. Where others were trying to upsell me to replace my furnace, AC unit and tear open all the walls, Brad took the surgical approach and repaired the system. His attitude was always to solve the problem, not try to maximize how much I would spend. I'll never hire anyone else for HVAC work in Hamilton!

Carlos and team did a phenomenal job constructing a fence and deck for my above ground pool. Carlos was available for every appointment we had with the pool installers and was super flexible with all the changes I made as the project evolved. His workmanship was top notch, always on time and kept us informed through the project. Carlos is also a kind soul and very easy to work with. It felt like more of a friendship then a business relationship. Funny, easy to talk to and he was excellent with explaining how the project would be managed. PNK was introduced to me by my realtor. They were great from day one. I could tell they were genuinely interested in my project and creating a beautiful home for my wife and I. We did a full gut renovation on our townhouse, down to the studs in most places. We had to replace 90% of our electrical, all new plumbing, we ran network cable all over the house, new floors, 2 bathrooms (one was net new) brand new kitchen, new trim, finished the unfinished basement creating more living space. Pat and Ken were great at creating custom solutions for all the weird things that popped up; like our HVAC system. There is no gas on the property, but we are the only unit in our complex with a full forced air air conditioning and heating system powered by an electric boiler and high velocity ducting. They even worked closely with me to build in all the smart home features I wanted. To top it off, all this was at the height of covid, so getting material and scheduling people to work was a nightmare, but the guys got it done! I would reccomend them to anyone looking for a new home build or renovation.

The whole team was professional and maintained communication from start to finish of the project. We had flood damage requiring replacement of drywall, taping, repainting. The flooring and stairs were also replaced as well as the doors and trim. Options were provided throughout to match budget and design choices and the final product matched what was promised. In the end we are very happy with all the work and thankful for the transparency and help along the way. Alex did a good job at the design (which was not to scale) and all the other contractors were booked so we decided to proceed with Kasty as he was the only one available and we could use the space for the tail end of the 2020 summer. Despite hearing some warning from others that a 27 year old who claims to have lots of experience and an engineering background would be an issue, we proceed with the project. Things started great and was pleased with the team and work however about halfway through the project we noticed things were being rushed and issues were starting to appear. Typical responses like “we stand behind our work” and “everything is covered under warranty” etc. is what we heard. As we approached the end of the project Alex provided the “Final Invoice” and to let him know if we had any questions. We had done a walkthrough of the front and back and made notes of the parts of the job we were not happy with and some areas where we were over charged. Alex was not happy with the list and became very defensive however after lots of back and forth agreed to a take it or leave it offer from Alex in which we agreed to reduce the final price by $2,235 (~1.8% of the total cost). We took the take it or leave it offer and made the payment in full and ensured Alex signed the final invoice confirming it was paid in full and we moved on. Shortly after this is where things changed... There was a rebate promotion with the stone manufacturer which we were trying to claim however the stone manufacturer responded that we did not qualify as our project was not paid in full. After reaching out to Alex we were told “Not going to go over and above for someone who did this to me” and that “He didn’t agree because he was happy about the conversation” and “Like I said you have a 3 year warranty regardless of how I feel. I put the needs of my work before mine”. 2 month later the cedar trees that Alex planted died. I was told there was a warranty with the nursery and if I got the irrigation system that warranty would be extended (which I did). However, Alex has ignored our requests and those dead cedars have not been replaced. After the winter we noticed lots of cracks, chips and crumbling stone and reached out to the stone manufacturer (as we had a lifetime warranty on the stone). However, received the same response that the contractor (Alex) indicated the project was not paid in full. So finally I escalated the issue to the President of the stone manufacturer and requested an investigation, after providing copies of the emails from Alex and the signed invoice confirming it was paid in full they honored the warranty and also provided me with the rebate that was previously declined. They mentioned they take these matters very seriously and provided a list of approved contractors who would repair the manufacturing defects and the stones that have cracked due to poor workmanship (which is normally not covered). Alex did come by after to see the cracks as he was even surprised how bad the issue was awhen he saw the pics but after some back and forth regarding the quality of the job was told “You can use the money you shorted me to hire someone to fix the work. You wouldn’t want someone who had bad workmanship to fix your yard yea? No one believes a single bad review saying I didn’t honor a warranty, especially when you didn’t pay your bill in full. And I will make sure everyone knows that” which he did in his responses. So I will somewhat agree with his response on the Google Review as we did not pay the “Final Invoice” as we agreed on a “Revised Final Invoice” which was paid in full and signed by Alex. Also, Alex mentioned they did everything they could to keep us happy, so I have uploaded some pictures of what things look like after he tried everything to make us happy (imagine what it looked like before). My expectations for workmanship and quality was much higher for a $130k job. Alex wish you all the best!

Can't say enough about Rob and his team at Ardis Kitchens Baths and Beyond! When a previous contractor dropped the ball, Rob came to our rescue. He understood the engineering ramifications of removing a load-bearing wall and put us at ease. While our previous contractor effectively told us to "stay out of his lane", Rob consulted us and communicated with us every step of the way. And the communication extended to his team, whom he directed like an orchestral conductor on day one. It was a beautiful sight to see! No time or materials was to be wasted. Austin, Jarrett, Eric, Chris and Colin definitely earn a shout out for their skills and professionalism and pleasant attitudes. What started out as a kitchen nightmare when the previous contractor walked away, turned into the kitchen of our dreams.
