DO NOT HIRE AMIR - THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF OTHER OPTIONS Amir M. installed a new gas water heater in my residence last year. Enbridge did an inspection on the house due to an unrelated service call. They flagged Amir’s work and tagged the gas line with a WARNING TICKET and gave us 45 days to fix the problem. Amir connected the gas line to the furnace line. That is not to code. I immediately contacted Amir. He kept saying he will come…gave me the run around for weeks and did not show up. If my gas is not fixed in the next week Enbridge is going to shut off the gas!!!! I am in the process of hiring another licensed tech to do the work. I feel upset that Amir did not do a proper install and cut corners. But I am more upset that he has given me the run around and not stood behind his work. We all make mistakes but we must be held accountable if we are not prepared to fix them.

This was our first major reno ever! So we were pretty nervous going into it. What if the contractor took our deposit and ran?! What if the contractor only did half the work and then left us high and dry?! Or what if the contractor did a bad job?! Thankfully, we found Eagle K&B and Leo! Despite our best digging, we only found positive reviews and stellar samples of his past work So we had to have him! Leo and his team did a terrific job gutting and renovating our small condo bathroom. From the beginning, he was extremely responsive. If we had an idea like putting in an acrylic slate as our shower base instead of tiling he was at Bath Depot five minutes later, FaceTiming us to go over the different options available. He was also very adaptable throughout the process. When we said we wanted a recessed LED medicine cabinet mirror, for instance, he replaced and framed a whole other wall to make our vision a reality. Leo and his team also went out of their way to work around this being our only bathroom. Instead of sending us off to some pricey hotel, as other contractors had required, they took the toilet off to work and put it back on before they left multiple times throughout the process. As with any reno, there were a few minor hiccups along the way just with the tradespeople that were brought in. It seemed like they were in a bit of a rush and not taking as much care as Leo and his team do. The plumbers accidentally damaged our door, the painters took a couple of tries to get things just right and the shower installers werent the best at caulking, for example. But to Leos credit and professionalism, he promptly fixed all these issues repairing the door, perfecting the painting and redoing the caulking in its entirety. It really showed he cared about making sure we were happy with the end result even if we were nitpicking sometimes! Attached are a few pictures of the end result. All in all, were ecstatic with how the reno turned out! And wed recommend Leo to anyone. Hes responsive, adaptable and takes pride in making sure the job is done right. Looking forward to working with him on many more projects!

I hired Max from Aire Max to replace the inducer motor on my furnace. He was prompt to communicate and reply, and clear with his pricing and scheduling. He arrived within the agreed window, was professional and straightforward, and explained what he was seeing clearly. He confirmed the furnace was otherwise in good condition, cleaned the flame sensor, and completed the work efficiently. Pricing was fair and transparent, and the overall experience was positive and reliable. I’d be very comfortable calling him again for future HVAC work - in fact, I will call him to replace my AC when the time comes.
