Wonderful experience and job well done. Special thanks to Michael for heading the crew and getting the work done ahead of time. The backyard grading along the property line between my neighbour and myself happens to be quite contentious. It has been mediated by the Richmond Hill Grading Department (RHGD) who have been quite understanding and reasonable in their handling of the situation. When the request came from the RHGD on what was needed on my side, a call was put in to Greenlane Landscaping to estimate the job and provide details on when it could be done. They, in fact, were the only landscaping company that answered my call. Michael, their landscape architect, came by and scoped out the job. It was done in a professional and congenial manner. The terms were agreed fairly shortly after that (regrade of the the area and resod as needed) and the date was set. There was a wrinkle in that the job date had to be pushed forward to meet the needs of RHGD and that was accommodated by Greenlane. When the date came, Greenlane sent a professional crew supervised by Michael, and they did a highly professional job. The crew was congenial and and empathetic in their relations. The job was completed to a first rate standard. the sod and soil provided were excellent and the instructions provide to keep the sod growing were easy to follow. In fact, the sod is the best grass I have in my backyard. There have been no issues with RHGD regarding the work done so far on my side of the property line. Thank you Greenlane on a job well done.

The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.

Sal and his team are wonderfully skilled with a high attention to detail. Just as important, they are good people. One too many times, you get contractors that you wished you hadn't welcomed into your home. Definitely not the case with Sal's Renovations. From initial estimate, to job completion, they are consummate professionals. Friendly, courteous, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond in the care with which they considered materials for our job, ensuring we had a proper estimate with appropriate attention to details, and in how they handled themselves on a day to day basis in our home. Even though this job in particular was a smaller project, Sal and Arie still dedicated themselves wholeheartedly, working diligently throughout. They are the type of guys that bring your bins back to your garage, just because they happen to be there anyway, or who step in to help with a nail gun when your son inadvertently rips something off the wall unrelated to the project at hand. Professional, thoughtful and skilled. We are totally impressed with the bathroom renovation performed by Masoud. The project involved demolition and removal of the old tiles, bathtub, and shower; installation of a new shower, shower base, tile panels and a glass door. Further to this, a vanity countertop was replaced with a new one provided by Masoud. Plus, other jobs, like toilet and vanity faucet replacement etc. The bathroom is small, and the whole project seemed rather challenging. We met with 8 contractors, and Masoud’s quote from Canzeno was by far the best. Unlike others, he did not argue about feasibility of our plans, and did exactly what we asked for. Communication was easy and pleasant. Masoud worked quickly, skillfully, with high quality and attention to details. We would be happy to hire Masoud for the future projects, and definitely recommend him as an excellent professional to others.

My job was described as complicated 😊 As a 1940s Scarborough bungalow, it certainly has its challenges. But Eugene and the team took the time to make assessments of potential issues and delivered a very successful Furnace and Water heater replacement for me. AC was done as well, which we will test in the spring. The installation day was long, but they achieved it without having to consider an additional day for completion - that worked very well for me. The team was very professional, took care of my installation, knowledgeable and polite and were respectful of my property on a day when the weather decided to quickly change for the worse. This entire exercise was based on a very acceptable quote. All elements of documentation and process were well defined, executed quickly and managed by Marina. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the AC Furnace GTA Corp team to anyone looking for a high quality implementation at a fair price that’s done right the first time.

I found Majid on Facebook and he was the first to answer with a realistic estimate for Lennox Elite furnace and a heat pump. He came the next day and gave a firm quotation which was hundreds $ (even thousands) less than any other quotation we had had. Work was scheduled for the next week and completed totally satisfactorily in one day. I referred Majid to my neighbour and my son and their work was also done in a week. They are happy and we are happy. I doubt you will find anybody better to do HVAC work, especially at this price.

Fireplace unit is great but installation was anything but great. Owner and his assistant showed up late, were not very careful and scratched up my mantle to the point where I have to repaint it (see pictures), they installed the screen crooked (see picture) and when I called them up to ask to come back and fix it, they said I did it and refused to return to fix it. I would think long and hard before calling up GTA Heating and A/C Inc.

I hired Antech to replace a bathroom fan and fix it's 2-speed operation. Hamid, the electrician, did a clean and tidy job of replacing the fan. He also spend a fair bit of time trying to figure out how the 2-speed operation had worked, but never did figure it out for sure. He had some ideas and promised to do some research and get back to me, but it's been nearly three weeks and I haven't heard back. (I haven't followed up on account of advice from my wife to drop the project)
