Very pleased with ACS and the work they did. I needed a new hot water tank and searched through HomeStars. They reached out quickly, gave me a fair price and replaced my tank that same day. Installers were great and literally rolled out the red carpet to keep my house clean. Space around the tank was limited so I was a little concerned but they removed the old one, installed the new one with no issues.

We recently used Master Homes Contracting to renovate two bathrooms. Anton came to the house to discuss the project and offer some advice as to the design aspect of what we were doing. We found him very knowledgeable, he made recommendations as to the layout and gave us a clear idea of what the project would look like when completed. We received a detailed quotation within a few days, numerous options with pricing. With some conversation we were comfortable with the quotation and agreed to move ahead. We were then introduced to Ashley who would be our design contact throughout the project. We had done the usual visits to the home stores and to be honest were a little overwhelmed, we really needed some direction and advice. Ashley made it so easy, she supplied numerous choices, with pricing, for each of the components from tile to taps, and really helped us with every selection, for us, that expertise saved weeks of wandering the aisles trying to figure out what we wanted. Once decided, Ashley ordered everything for us and had it delivered to our house. The crew showed up to start the demo on the agreed date, immediately covered my hardwood hall and stairs to avoid any damage as they removed the debris, they were careful to try to limit the dust as much as possible but by nature its a dusty job. Execution was flawless, we did have to make some decisions as to the waterproofing behind the new shower, Anton gave us three options with and actually recommended the LEAST expensive one for what we needed. We had a vacation planned that happened to fall in the middle of the project. We were so comfortable with Anton and his crew, we gave him a key, they continued working while we were away. The project was completed just as we got back, we were so pleased with the results. Both bathrooms look amazing, certainly exceeding our expectations, they even added undercabinet LED accent lighting, not included in the original quote but they thought we would like it. They were right, it added a whole spa like look to the bathroom. The project was completed a few weeks ago but I held off on my review as I knew there would be some minor call backs, there always are with any reno. The true test of a contractor is how well they handle the call backs. A flickering pot light, a sticky drawer on the vanity, they were there next day, resolved without question, we were very impressed. We did add some extras to the project as it progressed but overall they were on budget per their original quote. As a contractor Master Homes ticked all the boxes. On time, on quote, knew what they were doing, all the assistance we needed, daily updates on the project, immediate attention to the callbacks, and probably the most important factor, Trust. We will use them again for our next project without any hesitation, there are so many horror stories out there it was a pleasure and a relief to find a good honest contractor that goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with the results. Jason and his team did a great job with the replacement of all our interior doors in the basement, as well as our exterior front and back doors. He also changed the trim and baseboards, and matched them to our doors that we chose that really brought our place to life. I am most likely going to get more jobs done by Jason so I would recommend him to others anytime.

We had a particular request: refinishing wood that is almost a hundred years ago. Adam provided us with a quote that covered a lot of intricate wood working. This was a project that someone with significant experience was necessary. to perform the requests. Adam explained when and how he and his team (Mike) would carry out the work; there were no surprises. He also suggested ways to decrease our costs. On a personal note my husband and I loved working with them and will definitely call them for any other projects. We would highly recommend them!

I should have done this post many times over the past 16 years. John has come to the rescue so often during this time, doing roof repair, repairing water damage through the ceiling from a faulty leak, 2x, even fixed a floor that was not even after a previous job from someone else. I cannot say enough about John & his amazing crew. Just recently I had to have a lot of work done to get my house ready for sale. The project was managed by Harsh Patel who coordinated all the work including painting, new flooring, kitchen counters & cabinets & even some plumbing. I don't think that there is anything that they cannot fix, install or repair. Efficient, fast, reliable, excellent quotes & a pleasure to work with. Mike was excellent in addressing our kitchen faucet issue. He replaced it with one we supplied and made sure we were completely satisfied with it's function before completing his work. He also replaced an exterior hose tap while he was here and supplied a sturdy handle for it. We got his recommendations for a bathroom reno and would not hesitate to employ him for this or any other plumbing needs we have in the future.

If You are looking for a custom Kitchen I could not recommend anyone else. Forget big box store kitchens! You can get a much better CUSTOM Kitchen for just a little more but have completely different kitchen and experience from planning to installation. We are so glad we decided to switch last minute to Symphony Kitchens. Oleg the owner was incredible in helping us design our dream kitchen. Very responsive and went out of his way to provide everything we needed. Juan his manufacturer was involved in every step and was very informative and on hands during the whole process. He made the whole process stress free. Finally, the installers were absolutely incredible. Very clean, polite and fast. Perfect installation with after installation service practically on stand-by basis. We would never have this from a big box store. Thank You Oleg, Juan and the whole crew. You made a scary project incredibly fun and satisfying!

We split the cost of the job with our neighbours. Emilio and his colleague Ian replaced a rotten wooden retaining wall and fence for us in November 2021. Overall price was within the initial quote so no nasty surprises! Emilio explained things well to us and our neighbours so we knew what the job would entail. He touched base every day with updates. Prompt, courteous and oh so clean and tidy...... Paid attention to detail and very patient with questions that would come up. Would not hesitate to recommend True North Landscaping to anyone or to use again.

The Boiler Shoppe were initially helpful. My five radiators were cut and drained for flooring team. A B-tag on my Boiler was cleared. However, red-flags were raised. The sub-contracted plumber turned the boiler off and drained it, and the system was never tested (my cleared b-tag is very suspicious). I was told by the owner Ricardo that my boiler was dying and he could hear it, despite not ever being in my house when it was on. He was more interested in selling me a new boiler. I paid for all of this service in full as requested by the company immediately. During recommissioning, the re-attached radiators were leaking water within 24 hours. The control circuit on my boiler had been damaged by a short circuit and never turned back on. Before recommissioning they over-charged my credit card without authorization. This company vandalized my equipment in the hope of selling me new equipment, overcharged me without authorization, and have left me with no heat for the winter. A fraud.
