They removed my AC from the window, took it outside, and took it apart and vaccumed it and dusted and sprayed the inside and replaced it back in the window. I made the best decision, in going with Dolphin Mechanical! Pat was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and communicative throughout the process of selecting and installing my new heat pumps. It was a bit of a trickier job due to problems with the prior installation, but his team navigating it extremely well. Had a gone with a company with less skill or integrity to do it the right way, it could have been a disaster. Pat also went above and beyond in communicating with my roofers (where the outdoor unit was going), to ensure the support of both projects. He also helped me make a selection of products, offering honest and sound information. I felt like he had my best interest at heart, rather than merely trying to sell me something. I truly couldn't be happier - thank you Pat and and your team!!

Fantastic experience all around. Andre was great to work with along with his entire team. Special shout out to Tony and his crew who did the demo, they were so surgical - no mess. Also to Peter who did the tile work, he was outstanding and took such great care. Igor the painter was also great. When a few minor design issues came up (like with any reno), Andre (and his team) were happy to address and come up with the best solution possible. We are so happy with the work on the bathrooms, I had Andre quote on replacing all the hardwood in the house. I will definitely use The Reno Guys again and would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are the best! I cannot recommend them highly enough. The electrician who came to my house to fix my lighting switches and put up some fixtures was fast, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and just an all-around stand up guy. He ended up taking on more work for me than we initially discussed and his rates were very reasonable. If you need an electrician in the GTA you should reach out to King Current!

We called CJL Plumbing & Heating to service our Moen bath tub faucet, as we weren't able to remove the stuck cartridge and we're without water. Cody was very friendly and helpful over the phone consultation and told us he could come on short notice. Throughout the service, Cody took the time to explain the process and was skillful to respond to any questions and concerns we had. He was also professional, courteous and knowledgeable throughout the entire service. We paid exactly what was quoted and his honesty was greatly appreciated. I recently contacted Superior Plumbing with a request to find and repair a plumbing leak in my bathroom. Following investigation of the source of the leak by their employee Andrew, I was informed by him that the source of the leak was the wax seal under the toilet. He also identified that the toilet was aged and not in good repair and he suggested replacement. He provided a quote of $1,200 + tax for the work necessary to repair a water leak in my bathroom and replace the toilet. This work was done two days later by two installers. The work took approximately 45 minutes. After the work was completed, the installers advised me the toilet flange was also broken and provided me with an estimate of $800 to replace the flange. I did not accept this estimate as I was suspicious of the amount I was a being quoted for this repair. The work that was done that day did not stop the leak. When I contacted Superior Plumbing the next day to advise that the leak had not been fixed, I was told that the plumbers who installed the toilet were not aware that a new wax seal was to be installed and that they would return to install a new wax seal. I was also advised that a new toilet flange would be installed at no cost as a "courtesy" because of the installers error. I fail to see how this is a courtesy when, as I have learned, it is standard in the industry to change the wax ring and replace the flange on the toilet anytime a toilet is removed or replaced. The installers returned two days later and installed a new wax ring and toilet flange. Upon completion of this work the leak was still present. Another investigation by the installers that day found that the leak was coming from a pipe below the toilet, not the toilet itself. He seemed surprised that Andrew had identified the source of the leak as the toilet in the first place. I was then provided with a quote of an additional $650.00 to have the leaking pipe fixed. Given the inaccurate diagnosis, failed repairs and escalating costs I declined the estimate. When the installers left that day they dumped the bucket of drywall they had removed from my ceiling (to find the leaking pipe) onto my front lawn. I had paid $1356.00 to that point and the leak was not fixed. I paid $1356.00 to have a $350.00 toilet installed. Realizing that I had been grossly overcharged I requested a proper invoice including a detailed breakdown of both the parts and associated labour costs for the work done. When this was not forthcoming I contacted the number for the head office and was advised that "Superior Plumbing does not issue that kind of receipt" and that I would not be receiving any further documentation. I went to speak with someone in person at the local office only to find that the address provided on the company website is actually the address of another local business. Superior Plumbing is not located at the address advertised on their website. I looked up Superior Plumbing on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and it turns out they are not accredited with the BBB. They have a rating of F. The lowest possible rating. I wish I had looked the company up before I hired them to fix my leak. They took advantage of my lack of knowledge about plumbing and my feeling of urgency to get the leak fixed. I would not hire this company ever again and I would actively encourage others to avoid them at all costs.

We recently used Master Homes Contracting to renovate two bathrooms. Anton came to the house to discuss the project and offer some advice as to the design aspect of what we were doing. We found him very knowledgeable, he made recommendations as to the layout and gave us a clear idea of what the project would look like when completed. We received a detailed quotation within a few days, numerous options with pricing. With some conversation we were comfortable with the quotation and agreed to move ahead. We were then introduced to Ashley who would be our design contact throughout the project. We had done the usual visits to the home stores and to be honest were a little overwhelmed, we really needed some direction and advice. Ashley made it so easy, she supplied numerous choices, with pricing, for each of the components from tile to taps, and really helped us with every selection, for us, that expertise saved weeks of wandering the aisles trying to figure out what we wanted. Once decided, Ashley ordered everything for us and had it delivered to our house. The crew showed up to start the demo on the agreed date, immediately covered my hardwood hall and stairs to avoid any damage as they removed the debris, they were careful to try to limit the dust as much as possible but by nature its a dusty job. Execution was flawless, we did have to make some decisions as to the waterproofing behind the new shower, Anton gave us three options with and actually recommended the LEAST expensive one for what we needed. We had a vacation planned that happened to fall in the middle of the project. We were so comfortable with Anton and his crew, we gave him a key, they continued working while we were away. The project was completed just as we got back, we were so pleased with the results. Both bathrooms look amazing, certainly exceeding our expectations, they even added undercabinet LED accent lighting, not included in the original quote but they thought we would like it. They were right, it added a whole spa like look to the bathroom. The project was completed a few weeks ago but I held off on my review as I knew there would be some minor call backs, there always are with any reno. The true test of a contractor is how well they handle the call backs. A flickering pot light, a sticky drawer on the vanity, they were there next day, resolved without question, we were very impressed. We did add some extras to the project as it progressed but overall they were on budget per their original quote. As a contractor Master Homes ticked all the boxes. On time, on quote, knew what they were doing, all the assistance we needed, daily updates on the project, immediate attention to the callbacks, and probably the most important factor, Trust. We will use them again for our next project without any hesitation, there are so many horror stories out there it was a pleasure and a relief to find a good honest contractor that goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with the results.
