I wrote about Arian last year because of his incredible in person home visit re my Central Vac. system. I was so impressed by him that I vowed that I would never consult anyone else for all my Central Vac needs . This time around I needed to go in person to the Thornhill location as my hose was clogged ....and there was nothing we could do to unclog it . I called Arian , and he said to bring it in and they would take a look and see what could be done . Turns out my 8 year old sucked up a rock and some gravel ..go figure . No problem for team Amati . 24 hours later and not only was my hose clog free but they even tightend the screws in the handle . Basically giving me a brand new hose for next to nothing . Amati is honest and reliable . There was no tricky sales pitches to get me to upgrade ( the hose is over 30 years old ! ) and the price was more than reasonable . I will never trust anyone but them .

I hired ELC’s team, led by Eni, to renovate my home (a month long project). The scope of work included door installation, baseboard replacement, new stairs, plastering, painting, appliance installation, new bathrooms, and several other renovation tasks. My wife and I were extremely pleased with Eni’s professionalism, leadership, and personable approach, as well as the quality of his team’s work, particularly Emiliano. They were consistently polite, attentive, creative, and knowledgeable, and they paid close attention to detail throughout the project. All completed work exceeded our expectations and was delivered on schedule with no delays. We have already hired ELC for another project and will certainly work with them again in the future. We highly recommend ELC for any renovation project, especially for classic or older homes.

Normally I hire people with 50 or more ratings. But I wanted to give this contractor a chance as a local guy. Unfortunately, there were some challenges with the work. I told him up front i had a price quote for $150 from another contractor who also had a reputation on Homestars and 50 positive ratings. He said he would diagnose and troubleshoot and then tell me the price. Unfortunately, though he found the wiring problem after an hour, the gas fire place was damaged in the process. 2. I still did not hold it against him at the time and still paid him $200 and asked for a receipt and some price quotes in writing for further work . He claimed he did not have a receipt book and did not accept credit card. I was willing to give him another chance . Mistakes happen in life. But he never sent the receipt or written price quotes despite promising to send it the next day and after several more requests on my part. I found he was a bit argumentative and not always following my instructions.

Paul was very knowledgeable and did a thorough job with my insulation and he immediately sourced the area in my basement that was letting in moisture. Bear in mind that I needed to order my own supplies(which was no big deal) but I was also responsible for carting away construction debris myself and I had to return large supplies with my little hatchback. This is why I only gave 4 stars
