Their company name isn't fluff. These guys are artists. I initially wanted a few interior walls framed. But I learned that Igor and Yevhan's team can do a lot more. They were able to do the structural work in removing some of a load bearing wall. They followed the engineer's requirements to a tee. I also had some very uneven subfloors that needed to be straightened out. They gave me a great price to rip out and redo the entire subfloor by sistering every joist and laying down new subfloor. They also installed rigid foam behind the framing in the basement, under the sub floor and new plywood in the basement to be ready for flooring to be installed. These guys don't waste time. I thought all of that work would take a crew at least a week. But they had 3-4 guys for three days and knocked it out. Leading up to their start date and throughout the project they were clear and effective in their communication. This is the type of company you want to work with.

Sterling is great to work with. He is attentive and professional. His team did a great job replacing our deck and installing new railings. There were a couple of minor setbacks, with demolition revealing some surprises, but Sterling and his team adapted and found solutions to get the job done within a reasonable time frame. I chose Roots N Rubble Contracting Company to fix (resurface) the concrete steps outside my house. However, the next day when the concrete had dried up, I noticed that there were many tiny cracks everywhere and besides, the reworked surface was very rough and even the color was not consistent. In short, it was a total failure. As a result, I had to get another contractor to do the job properly.

The windows for my house were due for replacement. I did a considerable amount of research, determined what I wanted and narrowed my options to 3 manufacturers. I'm normally a DIY guy but realized that these windows are not sold to the public. I did my due diligence and got quotes from several contractors. I came across GTA Direct Windows & Doors. They provided a very competitive quote, but what really sold me was they were very candid, knowledgeable, and didn't try to upsell. I asked about my wired security system and they said it would be preserved - I would only need to put the contacts on the new windows. Other contractors told me the system would be trashed by the install. GTA Direct told me installation would take 1.5 days. I was very skeptical and a bit anxious about anyone installing 21 windows in that short amount of time. However, they completed the job at noon on the second day, took away all the scrap and left my home very clean. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the install. Alex is extremely easy to work with. He kept me updated on schedules, and was easily reachable when I had questions. He even contacted me after completion to ensure I was satisfied. It may not be a big deal, but customer service is high on my list of attributes I consider when hiring contractors. I would highly recommend GTA Direct.
