Domenic has been very professional all throughout our interactions. His initial response was timely and friendly and quickly came down to assess my project. He was very receptive to some of my unconventional requests and worked with my budget. Once work began, Domenic went above and beyond what was listed in our contract. Out of pocket he did further repairs on my garage and did not come back to me with additional costs. His main concern was the integrity of the job and I was very impressed with his level of professionalism. I have future projects to tackle in the near future and will certainly be hiring Domenic of Blue Ladder Improvements again.

If I could rate Goldfinger higher than 5 stars I absolutely would. Wei Wei, Shirley and David are fantastic in every possible way way. Their workmanship, cleanliness and attention to detail far exceeds anything that we have ever encountered in many years of having contractors doing work in our home. We even gave them a key to our house so they could work while we were away on holiday. They are so trustworthy and honest that we felt we had made new friends. While working here we inquired about a second bathroom and they gave us some very affordable tips on how to freshen it up (master ensuite). We now have 2 absolutely beautiful bathrooms on our second floor. We couldn't be happier. This family is incredible and we very highly recommend them to anyone looking to have some work done in their home. John and Cathy

Andy was amazing. He took the time to come out and look at the job prior to estimating and identified likely causes of the leaks I was experiencing. He was not the cheapest price I received but was certainly the most knowledgeable tradesman that I spoke with. When it came to completing the job he identified other issues with my roof and repaired them at no additional charge. As a trades business owner myself I appreciate that not all tradesmen are built equally and I would certainly recommend Andrei to any of my friends and clients. Thanks again Andrei.

Tim and the Sunny Garden crew did a terrific job. We hired them to remove our old bricks in the backyard and replace them with new pavers. They also replaced the bricks on our backyard porch and replaced them with natural stone. They also leveled the area so it's not sloping onto our neighbor's property. In the front of the house they replaced the old brick steps with natural stone steps. They also installed armour stones and new sod across the front yard. They started on time and completed the job as per the schedule. Sunny Garden did a great job -- highly recommended.

We hired David and Cheresh Homes to renovate our 60 year old family cottage - a 3 season dwelling built riverside on top of Canadian Shield rock in Muskoka. This was a 2 year project to renovate and update the property into a 4 season cottage. We also wished to maintain historical and legacy elements they were important to our family. Right from the start, David understood our vision and we felt comfortable with his design ideas and approach. It was important to us that he had the design build experience and expertise as a contractor to support this kind of large scale project. His pride of workmanship, creativity, attention to detail and strong relationships with local trades and contractors gave us the confidence that he was the right choice. He had genuine interest and excitement in our project and we felt immediate trust in him to make it happen. This was an extensive renovation project, taking place during the pandemic, which presented its own set of challenges. David and his team rose to the challenge and they handled our project professionally and with care. His crew and contractor tradespeople were respectful, friendly and responsive. We appreciated his suggestions and recommendations during the project. We knew he had other projects but always felt like we were his most important priority. He was always available to address our questions, help us make decisions and to offer ideas and options to save us time and money. We are beyond thrilled with the results. David and his team did a fantastic job in building us a cottage that will be enjoyed by generations of our family and friends. Embarking on a large renovation project like this is not for the faint of heart but with David and his crew on our team, we accomplished our goals and then some. David is a kind and genuine person. Is this a key competency for a contractor? Not necessarily, but it certainly makes for a better experience. He did his job seriously, base on this only I will give him 5 star. Problem is he mentioned he had experience with IKEA , but drain pipe could not fit , also, after hard working - I will say really appreciate this - I try to give him 25% tips, but he asked doubled price as he quoted. So sad I am not prepared for that much cost , esp. at these tough days. Suggest people shall confirm price at first beginning of work, not at the end.

Mohammed is punctual, very nice, and extremely patient, always maintaining a positive attitude. He managed to remove a 40-year-old, stuck dishwasher without causing any damage to the surrounding cabinets or tiles. He also prepared the cabinet for the new appliance with great precision. I am very satisfied with his work and will definitely hire him again when needed.

Would not recommend this service. A huge drywall gap was left beside my stairs to which the contractor did not tell me when he left. When I contacted him to ask him to fix what he did not do, he never answered. He also left my space heater facing the stairs running over night, without telling me he had even used it or left it on which is a HUGE fire hazard.
