We started out with a small Job fix some ikea kitchen cabinets and do some trim work. We then also hired them to pain some exterior shutters. and fix some stairs and floors. Then the storm hit and we decided to replace our floors do some water proofing, and touchoup paint. Keegan and his crew are great and I highly recomend them. there was a small issue with our stairs and they ended up fixing it for free. IF you ahve a job and you are not sure who to call, look no further.

We had a water leak in our basement and the original eaves were leaking at the seam and backing up into our basement. David came out next day for an assessment and advised not a repair but replacement. A quote was done by the next day and we were also advised he had close colour match that could save us $600! Signed up right away and the job installed professionally and carefully by the team of installers. We are moving soon and would definitely go with them for our next project!

We hired David and Cheresh Homes to renovate our 60 year old family cottage - a 3 season dwelling built riverside on top of Canadian Shield rock in Muskoka. This was a 2 year project to renovate and update the property into a 4 season cottage. We also wished to maintain historical and legacy elements they were important to our family. Right from the start, David understood our vision and we felt comfortable with his design ideas and approach. It was important to us that he had the design build experience and expertise as a contractor to support this kind of large scale project. His pride of workmanship, creativity, attention to detail and strong relationships with local trades and contractors gave us the confidence that he was the right choice. He had genuine interest and excitement in our project and we felt immediate trust in him to make it happen. This was an extensive renovation project, taking place during the pandemic, which presented its own set of challenges. David and his team rose to the challenge and they handled our project professionally and with care. His crew and contractor tradespeople were respectful, friendly and responsive. We appreciated his suggestions and recommendations during the project. We knew he had other projects but always felt like we were his most important priority. He was always available to address our questions, help us make decisions and to offer ideas and options to save us time and money. We are beyond thrilled with the results. David and his team did a fantastic job in building us a cottage that will be enjoyed by generations of our family and friends. Embarking on a large renovation project like this is not for the faint of heart but with David and his crew on our team, we accomplished our goals and then some. David is a kind and genuine person. Is this a key competency for a contractor? Not necessarily, but it certainly makes for a better experience. Hasn't started yet but I felt comfortable dealing with MJays and they are a local business, knowledgeable , friendly, can get it done fairly quickly with some possible upcoming projects too. Hoping to give a 5 star review for MJays after completed and recommend to others. Update: Finished today and definitely 5 stars! Went over above our expectations. Made 3 trips to get a perfect color match. Attention to detail is definitely a 5 star rating; Did a few other touch ups ( was a surprise) . Will definitely be hiring again for future projects we are thinking of. Definitely recommend MJays if you want a contractor who takes pride in their work , which they clearly do. STS was involved in the project, from beginning to end. Scott was integral in the design, planning and completion of the project. Our project included a kitchen gut and rebuild, new floors, baseboard and trim, new interior doors, removal of popcorn ceilings, drywall patching and mudding and painting, full bathroom gut and redo, tiling backsplash and shower, capping stairways, installing new stair railings, and wardrobe built-ins. We are very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and the finished results! Scott was easy to work with, knowledgeable, reliable, and accommodating of our requests and schedule. We would highly recommend STS and will use again for phase 2 of our renovations.

Roland installed a side-mount garage door opener in my brand-new home, which didn’t previously have an opener at all. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. His pricing was very fair, he was punctual, and he completed the job quickly and efficiently. Beyond just the installation, Roland took the time to do everything properly and walked me through how the system works, explaining things clearly and making sure I was comfortable using it before he left. He’s extremely knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely kind,just a really nice person to deal with. Nothing but good things to say. Hopefully I won’t need garage door work again anytime soon, but if I do, he’ll be my first call. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for garage door sales, service, or installation.
