 All HomeStars Best of Award victors have to have a star score of 85+. When a homeowner submits a review for a specific home service professional, they also have an option to rate their service on a special scale designed by HomeStars. The Star Score is measured based on the average rating, reputation, recency and responsiveness of the pro. The pros who have a Star Score rating less than 85 do not fit into the criteria to win the award.

The Winning Pros Have a Long Relationship With HomeStars

To be eligible for winning a HomeStars Best of Newly Listed Award or a HomeStars Best of Award, a business must be registered with HomeStars for a minimum of a year. Whereas a HomeStars Best of the Best Award will be given to businesses that have previously won the HomeStars Best of Award for 3 or more consecutive years. In a nutshell, the business has to be in good standing with a trusted brand like HomeStars for you to hire confidently and without any doubt.
