I would recommend Kanata Renovations. Although the project dragged out longer than anticipated their work was acceptable but I think given the fact I provided most of the finish materials (other than Mortar,grout, electrical wiring) the pricing could have been better. Mabda (Ben) is a someone you should avoid at all costs. He charged me $350+HST for fixing a sink at a condo I own. I trusted the work would be done and did not follow up to confirm. Buyer beware, the sink was not fixed at all! If he challenges this review, I have receipts showing what I paid, and pictures that show it was never fixed. Stay away!! The best/funniest part is, he flooded my toilet when he was there too just my luck! Read the reviews and don't waste your time. The good ones are probably fake.

Not a great experience! Cory was doing work for a commercial building in Edmonton and was hard to nail down an exact install date. He blamed the delays in starting and finishing our project on being short staffed and having to let some guys go. Maybe, but not what we signed up for. The guys he did send, including himself, weren't great quality-wise. The tiles in the back entrance do not sit level - some higher than others. You can feel it when you walk across them! The kitchen backsplash, which is made of small, rectangular glass tiles, is crooked! The tile lines are wavy and unattractive. Not super happy with the quality. In the end, we were desperate to just wrap up the renovation as we were living through it and it was dragging on too long. I wish in hindsight I had stuck to my guns and made him fix the sub-standard quality in some of the areas. It bothers me every time I look at my backsplash, which should be a nice focal point of our kitchen. :(Latest review:All Works Renos

-the project took longer than necessary started the work with his son the first 2 weeks then he worked alone for the remaining time -agreement was 50% down and 50% balance upon completion of project -about 1 week after receiving first installation payment every other week he asked to be paid and othertimes he begged that he needed the money -He used the cheapest grade of artificial tarp and used old rusty nails- never secured correctly - he walked away with any excess material that remained from the project. -Latest review:Viktory Landscaping

I have been restoring old homes in kitchener waterloo to their original glory for over 15 years. All my work comes with a 1 year warranty.
The job was supposed to take 4 days and we're currently on day 11 and its still not done. 12 tiles need replacing due to them popping up. Petr does not want to repair them. Multiple issues of no shows for the job and half days with different reasons each time. There is mortor all over our AC unit and siding due to the washing there buckets right beside the house. Also damaged drywall from removing the trim. I would not recommend him.

The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.Latest review:Master tile kayen
