-the project took longer than necessary started the work with his son the first 2 weeks then he worked alone for the remaining time -agreement was 50% down and 50% balance upon completion of project -about 1 week after receiving first installation payment every other week he asked to be paid and othertimes he begged that he needed the money -He used the cheapest grade of artificial tarp and used old rusty nails- never secured correctly - he walked away with any excess material that remained from the project. -Latest review:- I thought Mustafa did a great job on laying the tiles. However the job was delayed by 1 week and I had 3 rooms to remove the tiles and lay the new tiles. With the delay I removed the tiles from one room and cleaned up all the thin set. When he finally arrived to do the work he said wow good job that was a lot of work. Yes it was a lot of work but he did not reduce his price at all. He helped move the appliances and removed a set of sliding doors, shoe rail on the baseboards and one kick plate on the kitchen cupboards. When he finished tiling he said that he was finished and was ready to go. I asked about reinstalling the shoe rail on the baseboards, the sliding doors etc. he said he lays tiles the other stuff is not his job. I feel that if you take it apart that you should put it back. Good thing I’m handy or I would have had to hire a carpenter. I had to cut the kickplate to fit drill holes in porcelain make new moulding due to breakage. I have been restoring old homes in kitchener waterloo to their original glory for over 15 years. All my work comes with a 1 year warranty.
The job was supposed to take 4 days and we're currently on day 11 and its still not done. 12 tiles need replacing due to them popping up. Petr does not want to repair them. Multiple issues of no shows for the job and half days with different reasons each time. There is mortor all over our AC unit and siding due to the washing there buckets right beside the house. Also damaged drywall from removing the trim. I would not recommend him.

The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.Latest review:Master tile kayen

We are so happy with the bathroom renovation Andrew completed for us. From day one, he was professional, reliable, and incredibly easy to work with. Gregory and his coworker did a spectacular job. They had to cover an ugly Grey colour on all the walls and doors. They were the most professional painters I have ever hired. Dave does amazing work ,behaving been married to a contractor I can honestly say Dave's work is some of the best I have seen. He repaired a window, cleaned and caulked 6 windows, inspected my crawl space did a few odd jobs he was here for 7 hours and the I feel so much better he gave me peace of mind . Dave is reasonable, arrives on time with all supplies, works steady, very respectful , honest his work is beautiful will definately stand the test of time..
