I hired Alex to fix my ceiling. This was a difficult job to assess. My home is 95 years old. During its lifetime it had been attacked by squirrels. My ceiling which is the floor for the upper level, was in very sad shape. It had been repaired in many places, some repairs smaller, some larger, all of them badly done. We spent an hour discussing different ideas to do the repair. Alex and his helper came up with the idea to take the whole ceiling down this removing all the areas that were bulging and in his words, “make a new ceiling to last many years.” I agreed. They took me shopping and got my input on every step, discussed every issue, respected my ideas (good, bad, and stupid) and after removing all the drywall, we have a straight and level ceiling, all the bulges of squirrel damage removed. The slate is clean and we began from scratch. I have him in my contact list as I have other projects.Latest review:House renovation-
