*****Beware of this company*****We needed a repair done to our chimney, they came and gave a "free" inspection which ended up costing me $300 - that should have been my first clue. But I paid it. they went up and took a look and provided me a quote for the work which was quite reasonable. I signed the contract and they proceeded the next day to do some removal of the existing crown which had cracked. During this, they allowed a big chunk of concrete to roll down the roof, break my eavestrough and create two big holes in the stucco wall of my neighbour! To add insult to injury and now with a big gaping hole in the fireplace i get a call from their office manager saying that they are going to need an additional $11k to finish the job. It was a hard no! I insisted to keep to the original contract but they said they couldnt because this was a "safety" issue - total shakedown!, needless to say they left the job, damage to my eavestrough and the wall, and threats to put leins on my house!Latest review:Install or repair chimney-Kasty Landscaping Group

We do this by having multiple meetings if necessary with our clients to make sure their yard can accommodate all of their creative wants and needs. Once we agree on this plan, we work diligently to come up with the most cost-effective or lavish space keeping in mind budget, and other constraints. Since every job is different, every approach with a customer is unique and crafted just for them. This one on one approach is what leads to having an amazing rapport with our clients and constructing unique and beautiful outdoor spaces that will provide enjoyment for years to come.
Alex did a good job at the design (which was not to scale) and all the other contractors were booked so we decided to proceed with Kasty as he was the only one available and we could use the space for the tail end of the 2020 summer. Despite hearing some warning from others that a 27 year old who claims to have lots of experience and an engineering background would be an issue, we proceed with the project. Things started great and was pleased with the team and work however about halfway through the project we noticed things were being rushed and issues were starting to appear. Typical responses like “we stand behind our work” and “everything is covered under warranty” etc. is what we heard. As we approached the end of the project Alex provided the “Final Invoice” and to let him know if we had any questions. We had done a walkthrough of the front and back and made notes of the parts of the job we were not happy with and some areas where we were over charged. Alex was not happy with the list and became very defensive however after lots of back and forth agreed to a take it or leave it offer from Alex in which we agreed to reduce the final price by $2,235 (~1.8% of the total cost). We took the take it or leave it offer and made the payment in full and ensured Alex signed the final invoice confirming it was paid in full and we moved on. Shortly after this is where things changed... There was a rebate promotion with the stone manufacturer which we were trying to claim however the stone manufacturer responded that we did not qualify as our project was not paid in full. After reaching out to Alex we were told “Not going to go over and above for someone who did this to me” and that “He didn’t agree because he was happy about the conversation” and “Like I said you have a 3 year warranty regardless of how I feel. I put the needs of my work before mine”. 2 month later the cedar trees that Alex planted died. I was told there was a warranty with the nursery and if I got the irrigation system that warranty would be extended (which I did). However, Alex has ignored our requests and those dead cedars have not been replaced. After the winter we noticed lots of cracks, chips and crumbling stone and reached out to the stone manufacturer (as we had a lifetime warranty on the stone). However, received the same response that the contractor (Alex) indicated the project was not paid in full. So finally I escalated the issue to the President of the stone manufacturer and requested an investigation, after providing copies of the emails from Alex and the signed invoice confirming it was paid in full they honored the warranty and also provided me with the rebate that was previously declined. They mentioned they take these matters very seriously and provided a list of approved contractors who would repair the manufacturing defects and the stones that have cracked due to poor workmanship (which is normally not covered). Alex did come by after to see the cracks as he was even surprised how bad the issue was awhen he saw the pics but after some back and forth regarding the quality of the job was told “You can use the money you shorted me to hire someone to fix the work. You wouldn’t want someone who had bad workmanship to fix your yard yea? No one believes a single bad review saying I didn’t honor a warranty, especially when you didn’t pay your bill in full. And I will make sure everyone knows that” which he did in his responses. So I will somewhat agree with his response on the Google Review as we did not pay the “Final Invoice” as we agreed on a “Revised Final Invoice” which was paid in full and signed by Alex. Also, Alex mentioned they did everything they could to keep us happy, so I have uploaded some pictures of what things look like after he tried everything to make us happy (imagine what it looked like before). The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.Latest review:Central Park Paving Company Ltd

Though because they were a well established company that they would be good, but there guys covered out water main (dispite having already marked it) while paving out driveway. They refused to fix it while they were here, said it would be a quick easy fix once the city located the line. Needless to say it took several months and endless calls to the business in order to get them back out to address it after havi gpai in full. We had to deal with city for them, and we're advised they broke the main, and ended up needing a larger patch in order to fix the main. Central Park put the patch in and did a terrible job of it. We got no apology, no money back, and now have paid 3 grand for a driveway that is going to fall appart before next year. We would not recommend at all. They refused to call back for months and we still have holes around the patch in our brand new driveway. So disappointing!!!!

DAntonio Landscaping and Maintenance, Laura (and her entire team), were exceptional in removing our old grass, grading and installing new sod! It is very evident that they used top quality sod that was freshly cut. They provided all the materials, removed all our previous debris and unwanted materials, and left the site spotless! They also worked flawlessly in tandem with the sprinkler system company that was installing new water sprinklers. Laura is very hard working, she made our experience seamless in helping us decide on the scope of the job, providing input and vision to design a new look, providing a quote, and, having her team execute a perfect job! Amazing team work! They are friendly, responsive, experienced, and knowledgeable. Laura was present to manage and oversee the entire job from the moment we met her. Erion from EL Empire Construction responded to our request promptly. He was courteous, honest and upfront about what needed to be done with our roof. Dave does amazing work ,behaving been married to a contractor I can honestly say Dave's work is some of the best I have seen. He repaired a window, cleaned and caulked 6 windows, inspected my crawl space did a few odd jobs he was here for 7 hours and the I feel so much better he gave me peace of mind .
