This company did our front landscaping with interlock and small area with shrubs in summer of 2015. Now its 2016, the interlock is sinking, stones are moving and grout has washed away. They keep ignoring my messages, phone calls, etc. They said they did a "drive by" to check whats wrong, without us even being home to show them the problem. don't ever take this company, terrible.Latest review:Platoon Landscaping

Initial contact with Eric was good - he understood it was a small job that we had a budget and would work within it. Due to the very wet spring had to delay the start a couple of times - can't be helped. Charles got his men on-site and the bulk of job has been completed quickly. Hired AAAHS to repair wall in my basement and was quoted the price. I informed the company that the job would require painting. AAAHS arrived late and proceeded to repair wall. He patched the wall and said his job did not include sanding or painting. I don’t understand why he would think that we would just want the wall repaired and not painted. I pointed out that is not what I wrote in my message and was told he gets thousands of messages a day regarding jobs, so it’s not his problem that he can not keep track of what the job entails. I could have gotten the job done in completion by another person for less money. I was left very confused and angry. This company needs to work on their communication skills and provide proper estimates so the client knows exactly what they are paying for and not be tricked into retaining their service and in the end the job that is completed is incomplete.Latest review:Rodo Construction INC

Unacceptable Work, Property Damage, and Contract Violations I am deeply disappointed with RODO CONSTRUCTION INC. and feel it is necessary to share my experience to prevent others from facing the same issues. The work performed on my property has been completely unacceptable, and the contractor has failed to honor our agreement. 1. Incomplete Work & Property Damage: The contractor left the job unfinished, causing significant damage to my home. The work done so far is incorrect and has been condemned by legal authorities. My basement has suffered serious damage due to their negligence. He did not do water proofing properly. 2. Contract Violations: The contractor failed to install the egress window as agreed in our contract, causing damage to my walls and property. They also installed the sump pump in the wrong location, which has caused further damage in whole of my basement. Waterproofing was not completed, and they left garbage around my property. Furthermore, the contractor did not apply for the necessary steps, despite assuring me that everything would be handled according to the rules and regulations with permit. 3. Fraudulent Behavior: After taking full payment, the contractor abandoned the project and has since ignored all my calls and messages. This is not just unprofessional but fraudulent. This level of unprofessionalism has caused me significant financial losses and stress. To get the job done correctly by another contractor, I first need to repair the damage caused by RODO CONSTRUCTION INC., which will incur 3 times additional costs. All of this is a result of trusting this unethical contractor and paying him in good faith when he requested payment. I strongly urge others to not considering RODO CONSTRUCTION INC. for any work. I sincerely hope the contractor has enough integrity to refund my money and take responsibility for the harm done.

I had moved into a new build with with landscaping already completed. The builder used very poor services so I hired oasis to help us tune up our dire needs and complete the back yard. The original soil sank beneath the concrete sidewalk so oasis was happy to help fill the void and ensure the fill was well packed so we would not longer have hollow spots under the sidewalk. In doing so much of the sod was ruined so a newly levelled and packed yard with fresh sod that took beautifully. They were quick and efficient in the task and very conscientious of us as well as my neighbours. All in all 5 star service I would recommend to anyone. I hired Doyle Contracting to put down cement and build a shed according to specifications I provided (I have provided a photo of the shed and the copy of the specs I provided. The shed I ordered did not have the cupola on top nor the plant pots, so none of that should in the photos). The work was mostly completed yesterday, but there were some issues with the quality of work around the windows and with the siding on the top edges of the shed. Doyle contracting agreed to take care of that only if I paid them more money. If you look at the photos of the work done and the photos from the specifications though it is obvious the work was not done properly. You can see around the windows in the front and on the edging the quality of work you will get if you hire them. For that reason, I would strongly argue against ever using Doyle Contracting and would find a different company if you ever need any work done.
