Gord and Sam from G.E.M. Electric are consummate professionals, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We have an aging house, built almost one-hundred years ago, with an electrical system that was mostly original. Gord and Sam were here for approximately ten days in a row, rewiring and upgraded everything to code, adding several additional outlets, light-fixtures,j switches, and more. Moreover, they came in on-budget actually, slightly under-budget and when we had some teething problems with our new hardwired smoke/carbon-monoxide detectors, they fixed the issue ASAP without delay (even though the defect was with the detectors, and in no way due to G.E.M.s installation). Project: Combi-Boiler Replacement (Navien NCB-190/060H) The process with BeyondHVAC was smooth and efficient from start to finish. I provided photos of the utility room and existing equipment, which Mykhaylo used to prepare the initial quote. He later confirmed everything in person and took the time to assess what was needed—including disconnecting and reconnecting the dryer to access the area. Although they weren’t available immediately (and it wasn’t an urgent job), they scheduled the supply and installation within a few weeks. The full installation of the Navien NCB-190/060H combi-boiler was completed in a single day. Mykhaylo was professional throughout, with clear and consistent communication by both email and phone. My tenants were very happy with how everything was handled. The boiler was installed about a week ago and has been working as expected since. Really appreciated the straightforward, reliable service—highly recommend.

Abe and his helper removed my old shed and assembled & installed my new shed. Also extended my cement pad for a better fit. I had been nervous as I didn't know this contractor. Abe is quick to respond to inquiries, also very responsible. I could not be happier with the job and my new shed. I would hire Ethan and Brother again.
Latest review:Build shed-- This was a disappointing experience. The first problem was that they underestimated how long it would take to do the job. In fairness, the owner had a vehicle breakdown and he lost a day to work. We had a rush job that needed to be done because we were listing our house. He sent someone with no experience to do the job. He wanted us to allow the person to work in our home until 11pm. A lot of back and forth until he agreed to come the next day to finish the job. The job did get finished but the quality was poor and there was a lot of clean up that we ended up doing. Nice guy but seems he takes on too many jobs and cant deliver on his committed completion dates.Latest review:Small staining or painting project-

Things I liked: - Ali was polite and friendly and a pleasure to talk to. - Quick price over the phone, no site visit required for a simple job - He said availability was any time with a couple day's notice, and he came through on that. Honoring your word is important - the job got done quickly and with no problems Things that were less than perfect: - he had 2 assistants which made the house a bit crowded for such a small job - after the job was done he didn't light the pilot light on my water heater - he didn't supply a flex hose for the final connection to the gas stove. Once he saw the used stove that I bought, he asked if it came with a flex hose and was apparently surprised that I didn't have one. Apparently he doesn't carry extras on the truck so I had to go and buy one. A google search of "do new gas stoves come with flex pipe?" reinforces my suspicion that it was probably just his way of getting an extra 50 bucks on the job I am easy-going so I would recommend him just based on good availability and coming on the day we agreed to, that is more than you can say for a lot of contractors. Enbridge needed to replace my meter and they noticed that the original line going into the house was below grade, thus not up to code. I was given a week to fix it before they would shut off my gas. I reached out and Madina reached out to me very quickly. After sending a few pictures of the area, I was given a very reasonable quote to do the work. They came a few days later and started to work on the project. They explained everything they needed to do and I think they ended up doing more than they expected. After drilling a new line into the house and connected everything, they did their pressure test and found the pressure was dropping. They re-inspected everything and found an old connection was leaking, which they also repaired. The quote they gave me was still honored and they had mobile payment machines to settle the bill. A copy of the invoice was emailed to me. If I need any more gas work or HVAC work to be done, I will definitely reach out to them again.Latest review:
