The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. This job required a full demolition and installation of a walk in bathtub, a new window, wall and ceiling tile, repairs and refreshment to the remaining drywall area and installation of a pocket door. The job required the involvement of several tradesmen. All of the guys were great. Masters of Their Craft! We initially hired Reza to design and build a deck around our new hot tub. The finished product included a privacy panel and stairs. We were so impressed with Reza and his teams professionalism and expertise that we hired them again to design and create a backyard retreat which included privacy fencing. Rezas team created a beautiful stone patio and firepit which connected to a stone pathway along the side of our house. The garden was cleaned up and a stone border was installed. When the backyard looks better than the front yard, what do you do? Work with Reza again to create the design! The front of our house now has a stone garden bed and pathway, and privacy screening which complements the natural beauty of our neighbourhood. To tip this design over the top, Reza added soft outdoor recessed lighting along the pathway, and spotlights in the garden bed. Rezas team also built a solid wood garden bed in front of the porch and added lighting as well. Reza and his team are masters of their craft. The team is meticulous and friendly, and their work is impeccable. Reza is a wonderful person and very easy to work with. We are so happy with the results they truly made our house a home and we cant thank them enough. We will be hiring Reza for all future projects and highly recommend them.
