We worked with Mark to re-finish our basement after we had a small flood. This was our first big renovation in our home and needless to say we learned a lot about the process from Mark! The basement was old, and needed a full gut down to the studs which included a full bath renovation, some laundry room work and the main area (insulation, new lighting, new flooring, additional support post installation for future upstairs wall removal, some HVAC). We also had Mark update a powder room on the main floor. From start to finish Mark helped us understand what was happening and made sure we were made aware of things they found when walls were opened up and plumbing and electrical was exposed. All of the sub-contractors were great and showed up on time and when we expected them per Mark, and Mark was very responsive if we contacted him with questions and really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the result. The work area was always kept exceptionally clean and was tidied at the end of each work day, which we really appreciated because we were still using the basement for laundry. Johnny was great to dealing with when he completed 2 jobs for us. One was repairing the walls and painting, including painting the ceiling and the other was removing grass cloth from a bedroom. The grass cloth removal was something no one wanted to do but Johnny took it on no problems and left it like new, with fresh paint and replaced baseboards. He is kind, reliable and considerate. Great communication from RWF Custom Contracting, from the get to go they were quick to respond, ask the right questions, give detailed answers and follow up when they said they would. I hired them to remove 3 bifold doors with install hinged doors. They did all the work outlined in the scope, on time and as discussed in budget. Polite. Professional. Clean.
