We had a great experience working with Sky Kitchen. Our designer Mohammed was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and patient as we designed our custom kitchen. The showroom has a wide range of samples of cabinets, hardware, and countertops. The staff communicated well through phone and email and made scheduling and payments easy. The installation was done quickly with no mess left behind and we are very happy with the end product. For the prices and service, Sky Kitchen cannot be beat!

We recently used Master Homes Contracting to renovate two bathrooms. Anton came to the house to discuss the project and offer some advice as to the design aspect of what we were doing. We found him very knowledgeable, he made recommendations as to the layout and gave us a clear idea of what the project would look like when completed. We received a detailed quotation within a few days, numerous options with pricing. With some conversation we were comfortable with the quotation and agreed to move ahead. We were then introduced to Ashley who would be our design contact throughout the project. We had done the usual visits to the home stores and to be honest were a little overwhelmed, we really needed some direction and advice. Ashley made it so easy, she supplied numerous choices, with pricing, for each of the components from tile to taps, and really helped us with every selection, for us, that expertise saved weeks of wandering the aisles trying to figure out what we wanted. Once decided, Ashley ordered everything for us and had it delivered to our house. The crew showed up to start the demo on the agreed date, immediately covered my hardwood hall and stairs to avoid any damage as they removed the debris, they were careful to try to limit the dust as much as possible but by nature its a dusty job. Execution was flawless, we did have to make some decisions as to the waterproofing behind the new shower, Anton gave us three options with and actually recommended the LEAST expensive one for what we needed. We had a vacation planned that happened to fall in the middle of the project. We were so comfortable with Anton and his crew, we gave him a key, they continued working while we were away. The project was completed just as we got back, we were so pleased with the results. Both bathrooms look amazing, certainly exceeding our expectations, they even added undercabinet LED accent lighting, not included in the original quote but they thought we would like it. They were right, it added a whole spa like look to the bathroom. The project was completed a few weeks ago but I held off on my review as I knew there would be some minor call backs, there always are with any reno. The true test of a contractor is how well they handle the call backs. A flickering pot light, a sticky drawer on the vanity, they were there next day, resolved without question, we were very impressed. We did add some extras to the project as it progressed but overall they were on budget per their original quote. As a contractor Master Homes ticked all the boxes. On time, on quote, knew what they were doing, all the assistance we needed, daily updates on the project, immediate attention to the callbacks, and probably the most important factor, Trust. We will use them again for our next project without any hesitation, there are so many horror stories out there it was a pleasure and a relief to find a good honest contractor that goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with the results. Our project was the installation of kitchen tiles starting from the subfloor. Jason explained the steps required to perform the work and provided us with a reasonable quote. He was genuine which gave me the confidence to choose him for our project. When it came to laying the tiles, Jason mapped out all the tiles first to make sure that the focal point of the room was the important part and figured out the tiles from there to the wall (as opposed to just starting from the wall regardless of focal point and how the tile “seams” appear at this focal point). Ultimately, the finished tile floor looks great. We are very happy with the work he did. Thank you Jason.

Hired to replace countertops with quartz, install pot lights and remove stucco/flatten ceiling. New counters look great, pot lights make the place much brighter and the worker doing the rest put forth his best effort. Just needs a bit more training on some issues but I'm sure as he completes more projects he will become even better than he is. They communicated well, charged a fair price and stayed until the job was done

I hired O.T.M. to repair, powerwash, and paint my large deck. Trevor and Ian did a fantastic job. They were always on time, worked hard and cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the project. Trevor gave me a fair quote and stuck to the budget with no surprises. My first interaction with Andre was very positive, he seemed very knowledgeable and asked questions about the age and history of the home. He also said he only did one project at a time, and didn't start the next one until the previous was complete to our satisfaction. This feeling did not last very long once we had paid the deposit for the renovation. The original scheduled start date was in November. In October we received an email that it was delayed until February. Actual work didn't start until mid March. We agreed at the start of the project that if he needed to stay late if he was going to waste material (like grout or cement). What happened instead was he showed up most days between 10am-1pm and stayed 6-10 hours. Halfway through the project I clarified that I only wanted him in the house between 9-6 and the extra leeway was only for special circumstances. He came on time one day and returned to arriving between 10-1 after that. When demolition started, we was surprised that the walls of the 1930's home were not drywall, and had not heard of rocklathe that the walls were actually made of. He was also surprised the tub was made of cast iron. Both of which he charged more for above the quote price and added 1 week on the 2 week project. Once the bathroom was almost done, I had messaged him to confirm I was able to use the tub which he had tested. Once it drained, I noticed the ceiling below the tub was leaking, the original pipe was held together with epoxy and had come loose from the renovation. Another added cost, and I had to replace my own ceiling, he wanted to charge more and he was behind on the next job. He also moved the bathroom light switch to inside the bathroom, which was also not tested (it turned off all lights upstairs). The light switch move was a line item in the quote and paid for, but when I told him about it he would not entertain fixing the issue. In the end I will need to change this myself, even through I have paid for it and is a line item on the "add-on" quote. Other short nitpicks: - He did not install a shower curtain rod (not specifically called out in the job, but I had assumed that would be included) - Tiles not all flush with the wall, some sticking out - Did not get the tub we wanted, apparently it was out of stock on back order (we paid him the deposit 1 year before the work started) - Shower head was not installed well, o-ring was crushed and was leaking. Luckily I was going to replace with a different head so it was an easy fix The frustrating part is the bathroom itself is well done. If the Andrei and Jessica had just given an accurate quote from the beginning and did the work they said they would it would be a 9-10 star review. They are both very personable and very good hard working people. In the end, I would have been better off with a different company who quoted higher but had explicitly called out the complexity of working on an older home and likely wouldn't have had the surprise cost.

They did a decent job of stamped and aggregate concrete for my lawn and backyard. But disappointed with their after work customer service and response. Few cracks showed up, but did nothing about it. Few spots with broken coating, but did nothing about it. When they layer gravel on the sides of the concrete, did not do a proper layering of the black material before putting the gravel, within a year grass started to grow. Wanted to get a proper drain because backyard neighbour raised issue, but did nothing about it. Basically they dont respond to you once they are completed, paid off and gone. Disappointing that even if its a big work and you had treated them cordially, upon fall up later they ignore you blatantly.
