Although Declan was hired initially only for flooring, I expanded the scope of the project as he stated he was a GC. I was disappointed with the work. He was onsite for a few minutes some days and late a lot, even though we planned our meetings around my work schedule. The flooring/stairs was below standards I would expect from other contractors I worked with. Top nosing broke and tenant fell. He didn't even respond to texts or offer repair. He eventually agreed to refund 25% owing on the flooring as I would need to get someone else in to fix this but he never refunded this back. His subcontractor came 3 times and did not fix the stairs. Left the stairs unglued with my tenant's mover and my handyman tripping and falling. Ikea kitchen installer he hired left all boxes thrown in a closet. I was told that as he did not buy the kitchen, he did not have to dispose of them. Came back and cleaned poor grout lines and some grout was even missing. Left open drywall behind stove (not code).

We got our kitchen renovated and decided on Grandview Custom Cabinetry as they were referred to us by a friend. We had Tony come in and he was so easy to work with. He listens and cares about our wishes and concerns. He helped us design a remodel which was far better than what we had planned. Grandview Custom Cabinetry designed a cabinets to our requirements. The caveats are sturdy, beautiful and are the highlite of our kitchen. Grandview Custom Cabinetry were professional, courteous and always involved us every step of the way. We were so pleased with the quality of the product and service that we had Grandview Custom Cabinetry come back a year later as we had a major flood and the kitchen had to be redone. Project involved demolition of the old garage and constructing a shed an new deck and a fence. Carlos was very helpful with transforming our idea into realistic plans. The quality of the carpentry is unbelievable, every corner is square and surface leveled. Elias paid attention to every detail. Daniel does not conduct the estimates or do the work... He does not appear to be a handyman - he does not show up at all. He is more of a General that subs out the work. That is OK but he tries to charge for extras that he does not incur but tradespeople he hires might.
