Finer Edge was very professional. The price was competitive. They completed the job well before the deadline. The crew was tidy, took care not to damage the garden , left no mess and most importantly the paint job looks great.

As always, Finer Edge worked quickly and professionally. They performed the appropriate prep work and a thorough clean up, and the outcome was a superior paint job. Many of their painters have worked with the company for a number of years.

We were really impressed with the Finer Edge from start to finish. It started with the professionalism of Gordon who came by to do a quote for us. I was originally only thinking of Finer Edge for a couple of key interior walls, where top quality skills are vital. I had already selected a company to do the exterior painting, thinking that I might not be able to afford Finer Edge for exterior work as well. However Gordon wanted the challenge to see if he could come in with a competitive quote for us for the exterior work too and he did! We were delighted because we wanted the best painters in the city. What I didn't expect is that for such a competitiive quote, we would also have such great project management and hands-on attention paid to us. After Gordon, came Colin who met with us to get the right paint and colour matching. Then came Luigi who was the project manager in charge of our job. They both communicated promptly and regularly with us to ensure that everything was in place for our job, and that everything was going well. Then a crew of 4 showed up led by Tony, to do the actual painting. Their work, professional, and care speaks for itself. They did an excellent job! We were delighted not only with their work (prep and painting) but what nice guys they all were. Luigi, and Tony and his crew clearly take a lot of pride in their work and made sure we were happy. Tony even surprised us by painting 2 flower boxes that we had to match the exterior paint. I had asked Tony if he could leave me some paint so I could do it myself but by the next morning it was already done by him. What more can I say? Finer Edge is a class act from top to bottom, from start to finish. We will definitely use them again when we need other paint work.

Finer Edge has completed my entire house with this last job. The cost is always worth it as they pay such exceptional attention to detail that they often go beyond expectations and do something extra. In my basement they sanded all the doors because the previous painters had painted over dirt, leaving a bumpy surface. They just couldn't repeat that kind of shoddy work. The lead painter was so curteous, thoughtful and professional. He took pride in his work and loved showing me the high-calibre work he and his team had done. Finer Edge hires top quality painters who aren't doing this as a summer job. They are professionals. You won't find any better painters for the price.

I would happily write a very long and glowing review about all aspects of dealing with Finer Edge, however, having recently completed renovations on our home and spending lots of time researching service providers, I'll keep our feedback short and simple for prospective clients of Finer Edge, as I know how important your time is -- you do not need to look further for selecting your painter, this team is truly exceptional to deal with. From the inital meeting/quotation process through to completion of our project the experience was nothing but professional. All work was completed on time, on budget, and always with attention to detail. We had two full floors of our home painted, including kitchen cabinetry, and the results are flawless. If you are considering using Finer Edge to paint your home, you can do so with complete confidence.

The entire process working with Finer Edge was awesome - Gord came by and gave a quote in a timely fashion (he even returned my call, which isn't something every company did). The quote was clear and explicit, not evasive at all. Colin and Taylor, site managers, were both excellent, too. They came when they said they were going to, explained the details of the job, and ensured I was happy with the result. The paint crew itself was also exemplary. They were polite, efficient, hardworking, and thorough. The job was done when they said it was going to be, exactly what they said it was going to cost, and the house now looks like it should. I would recommend this company to anyone - I already have, actually.

We worked with Derek and Vince at Finer Edge painting to get the inside of our house repainted and found the experience to be great. Finer Edge was very accomodating, professional, punctual, and they did a wonderful job. Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of their work and would use them again.

The home required painting and priming from top to bottom. Finer Edge came the same day to provde a quote and were able to start the next day which was most important. They were very thorough in all aspects and small repair and detail detail, such as fixing small cracks in the ceiling, painting the inside of cupboards, precise detail to trim work, taking care of of all the household belongings during this very large job which were moved and covered and adjusted again daily. All members of the team were extremely helpful and experts in their job. Luigi, the project manager, was responsive daily with helpful advice during the project and after it was completed. During the summer of 2010 most of the rooms and hallways in my 1940's, downtown Toronto home needed painting, including a need to repair some cracks in the plaster here and there (particularly around replacement windows installed that year) as well as a need to re-hang doors with new hinges that I'd bought in order to replace those covered with several layers of old paint. To begin with, I was pleased with the cost estimate I received from Finer Edge, not only because the cost was in line with estimates I'd received from other companies but also because there was evident care and attention to detail shown in the cost estimation process. My initial impression that Finer Edge cared about the quality of their work was subsequently borne out to my complete satisfaction by the actual work performed. Hence, I've awarded them a 10 out of 10 rating for the job they did. I'd like to point out that months later, when some rooms needed a follow-up visit from Finer Edge to correct a few things, the project manager (Mr. Vince Piliero) saw to it personally that all of the necessary work was done without delay or any disappointment. Based upon my experience, I'm happy to recommend Vince and his crew to those like myself who are looking for workmanship that satisfies a high standard of quality and integrity.
