We hired Finer Edge to paint our family room, front door and spot-repair ceiling damage. From the beginning quote to final clean-up the Finer Edge people were excellent - on time, polite, meticulous workers, flexible, very tidy and professional. Ceiling repairs were extremely tricky - old plaster mouldings in one area and a very high, angled ceiling in the other area and the work was flawless. Their prep work went above and beyond. The end result was terrific.

I like the fact that they have a "team" for each project - one to give quotes & supervise the job, another to purchase the paint required in the % tints that the crazy customer is asking for, and the painters themselves. The job was finished more quickly than we anticipated. The painters arrived early and were polite and considerate.

We hired Finer Edge to completely paint our family room and kitchen (including the cupboards) as well as do some drywall repairs from a recent roof leak.The crew was amazing. They arrived on time, they were exceptionally neat and careful, and they were very personable.My cupboards look brand new and the water damage looks like it never happened.The quality of the work was terrific.This was a really positive experience.

The team showed up on time, kept me advised of progress while I was working and notified me promptly if they encountered any challenges. Even at the end when there was a problem (e.g. caulking cracked slightly) Derek the PM was there the following day to fix it himself. All in all a very positive experience.

We have used Finer Edge 5 or 6 times for paint and stain projects from exterior trim, fences, interior windows, ceiling renovations. Several different crews have been involved and all were pleasant, fast, productive and clean ... the quality was always excellent. Starting on schedule has been a minor issue.

Finer Edge was a very professional company to deal with and completed the work as specified and on time. Both management and the painters are courteous and do an excellent job. The prices seem reasonable and while they are probably not the least expensive painters available, they earn their money. I have already recommended them to friends and neighbours and would use them again.

Very pleased with the paint job performed by Finer Edge Painting. The crew showed up early every day and worked consistently through the day. Mansour, the head painter answered all of my questions and was genuinely concerned that I was satisfied with the work being done. They worked quickly and unobtrusively and and the area around the house was clean afterwards. The paint itself was applied cleanly and carefully. Derek,the supervisor, visited the site throughout and would consult with me each time about the progress. The final paint job has received a number of compliments from neighbours. The house certainly looks fresh and has a better appearance.

I had a horrible flood in the basement that resulted in having to rip out the floors and walls. All the contents had to be either thrown out or sent for repair. I was eager to get things put back together as quickly as possible, as my basement normally gets heavy use.I decided against using the company provided by my insurer, in favour of people I already knew and trusted. I had worked with Finer Edge before and they were extremely responsive to my situation. As soon as the walls had been rebuilt, they came to start on a weekend so that they would not interfere with the people who were laying down new floors. They arrived early, stayed late and got the job done as quickly as humanly possible. The company sent out the same father-son team that had worked with me before, providing me a sense of continuity and caring. I also appreciate the family atmosphere of their workforce: they told me that they have several father-son teams working with them. They did a great job and helped to ease a bad situation.

I would highly recommend Finer Edge. They recently painted the exterior of our home. They were quick, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. When I had questions, they answered them quickly and courteously. Our home looks fantastic. Great job all round.

Painted in 3 days! They stripped the front portico and repainted all old style wooden windows and storm windows. Colours nicely compliment our new door. Everything looks brand new and garage door has never looked better...excellent and timely work...! recommended very highly!
