    Wallpapering

    I have recently had two rooms wallpapered expertly by Finer Edge. One, with a heavy vinyl paper and the other with finicky grasscloth. We are delighted with the outcome of both rooms. Derek was a pleasure to work with and Scott performed the hanging with cheer and finesse. I would have no hesitation to endorse them and will definitely call for future projects.

    Painting

    I highly recommend Finer Edge. My decision was based solely on their reviews here on Home Stars. In my 37 years living in this house and dealing with various contractors I have never met a better group of individuals that, in my humble opinion, are the best in the painting business. The best way to describe my dealings with Finer Edge and in particular, Ben, and the painting crew comprised of Mario, Fernando and Hulio, they are very professional, respectful, knowledgeable, excellent workmanship, punctual, no pressure sales tactics and lastly immaculate job cleanup.     Hallway painting on 3 floors, Door frame repairs, and ceiling repairs in kitchen and bedroom

    Professional, friendly, punctual, talented and honourable team to work with. I would recommend Finer Edge to anyone!!! Bill, Colin and Doug couldn't have been nicer if they had tried, and as a company they are organized and do what they say they are going to do and more!! I would highly recommend them, and their work is top notch. I look forward to having Doug come back and do more for me in the coming year.

    Fabulous Painters and Wallpaper Installers

    I have worked with Derek and his team on countless projects over the past five years, as both a PR Manager hosting events and also as an interior decorator. Both himself, Scott and their other team members are pleasant to work with, respectful of our spaces and do a very thorough job. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

    Painting Bathroom and Basement

    We had a peeling problem in our upstairs bathroom and our basement needed to be repainted. Luigi the project manager knew exactly how to fix the peeling problem and we received a reasonable quote for the work. The office confirmed the start date and a few days before the office followed up to confirm. The day of the painting the team showed up right on time. The work done was professional. Jeff the chief painter was very careful to cover all my furniture and items and he made sure I was satisfied with the colours before he completed the work. The project lasted for 3 days and each day the team showed up on time. They worked all day and cleaned up the work area every night. The work was completed on time. The painting looks great and the price for the work was exactly as per the quote. I would highly recommend Finer Edge. They are a professional company. They know their craft and do very good work.

    paint entire interior of hosue

    Finer Edge was a pleasure to work with and did excellent work for us. The crew were polite, organised and efficient. The job had its challenges, including a cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom and a two story stairwell. Both took some artful maneuvering of ladders. Although the house was empty, the crew did have to work around several deliveries of large furniture items right through the space in which they were working. Site was clean, orderly and tidy throughout; required expansion of the scope of work was agreed in the midst of the job without any difficulty. Highly recommend Finer Edge.

    Painting, wallpaper removal

    I downsized from a house to a 15 year old condo. Extensive remedial work was required in the condo including wallpaper removal from all rooms, repainting, removing decorative columns etc. The work was carried out with minimum fuss, and when we moved in the place was absolutely spotless. It was a pleasure to deal with this company.

    Outdoor painting

    The estimate was given promptly upon request by owner Bill Yanou in July. Type of paint and details of the job were discussed. We agreed upon a date in September. When I called in September, another inspection was arranged with the supervisor on my job, Luigi Didomizio, who went over the details with me. The team showed up one day late because of other commitments but began work right away. Rain interrupted so the following week was booked. Once begun the work was excellent and all my concerns were dealt with. Luigi was polite, friendly, and accommodating at all times and I wouldn't hesitate to use Finer Edge again. all times. I would recommend Finer Edge and

    Various home projects

    Nick was on time. He installed two dimmer switches for me (kitchen and bathroom), recaulked our bathtub and installed a ceiling fan. He made sure the ceiling fan attachment was secure. He also assessed my back door to determine whether I could install a new door. Summary: I thought this was a little pricey for half a days work but I don't have this type of work done often and am not familiar with competitive pricing. I would recommend Nick for any small house projects you may have.

    Wallpapering a powder room

    I wanted to keep the existing border and repaper the rest of the walls. Scott did a great job of keeping the border intact, removing the old paper and putting up a "delicate" silk paper. The powder room is small with several difficult seam areas and his work was meticulous.
