    Interior and Exterior Painting

    We hired Finer Edge Painting to paint several rooms and spaces inside our 100-year-old home, as well as the entire exterior. The process could not have gone more smoothly. Luigi and his crew were punctual (always arriving promptly at 7:30 every day as discussed), polite, and flexible. We were so pleased with the work that we promptly requested that some additional spaces also be painted, and the response from the team was consistently, "no problem - we can do that." As a mother of two young children, I was especially grateful for the daily clean-up and overall tidiness of the crew - spaces were always free of dust, furniture was covered, and materials tucked away. My husband was particularly impressed with the care that the team took when doing the exterior - the detailed preparation of each surface prior to painting was incredibly thorough. This was the best experience we've had with a contractor in the five years since we purchased the home - we will certainly be calling them in the future, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

    Front door and garage door stained

    Glenn is an excellent painter. He advised us on staining, instead of painting our wooden doors. And he was able to advise us on the colour of stain that would be best suited for the home. He arrives on time, explained in detail why the doors should be stained and proceeded to do the work. The doors look wonderful. All areas were left clean at all times. We are very pleased with Glenn's work and would request him again in the future.

    Deck Staining, Exterior painting.

    The guys from Finer Edge do a fantastic job and stand behind their work. We had our deck stained, the front exterior and entry door painted by their team. They did a great job but what impressed me even more was their customer service. 2 years after the job, we noticed the paint bubbling on the front of our door. Regardless of the fact that it had been 2 years, they came, completely stripped and repainted the door and re-stained our deck surface as a gesture of customer service. It was way above and beyond anything we expected.

    Full House Painting

    We hired Finer Edge to paint almost every single surface of our new home (walls, doors, trim, exterior windows etc) and to say it was a big job was an understatement. Our project manager, Luigi, was fantastic and offered suggestions and advice on numerous aspects we were unsure of. His team was so hardworking, courteous, and always showed up first thing in the morning. The work was completed on time, on budget, and above what we had ever expected in terms of quality. Our house looks brand new and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!

    Meticulous

    We had Finer Edge do some external painting for us. The painters were very meticulous and took care to tape things off and clean up afterwards. I am satisfied with the quote and the work. I will be using them again.

    Interior painting including wood trim, frames, wainscotting

    We were overdue to have our home painted, particularly the original gumwood trim and our kitchen. Having owned and operated a custom cabinetry business in Toronto for many years, we knew of Finer Edge's excellent reputation and often referred clients to them. Bill, Luigi and team did not disappoint. The crew was in our home for three weeks and were polite, respectful and professional. The attention to detail was very high. The prep work (which is the critical work) was completed expertly. The final product is outstanding and has transformed our home. Finer Edge offers excellent advice and recommendations, delivers on their promises and acts professionally throughout the process. As a business owner providing product and services to demanding clientele, my standards are high and Finer Edge delivered. Well done. We will not hesitate to recommend your firm.

    Repairing & finishing drywall, painting bathroom

    Totally professional from start to finish. We had numerous drywall repairs to be done throughout the house as well as plastering and painting to be done in a bathroom with a 14-ft ceiling. I was desperate to have this done quickly -- and Bill and Vince worked with my schedule to start at 7am the morning we wanted. Ben and his team worked hard to minimize dust and mess (and succeeded!), finished the job within two days, and also found some spots we hadn't identified in our initial walk-through and made those look beautiful as well. I can't imagine hiring anyone else for future painting and drywall jobs.

    Exterior Trim Painting

    After receiving several quotes for the exterior painting of our house, we decided to hire Finer Edge Painting to complete the job. From our initial meeting we were impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail and the fair quote. Do to the detailed nature of the work, we wanted to ensure that the painters were skilled. Ben and his team did not disappoint. Mario along with Christian and Julio went above and beyond to complete the work to perfection. They have definitely mastered their art. We will not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and look forward to contacting them for our future painting needs.

    Basement Rennovations

    It was around $1,600-$1,800. Originally, we contracted Finer Edge to paint our basement (including under coating). They gave us excellent advice on the # of coats required. We had some issues in moving our renovator's tools (who tool ill at the time) from one area to another. The Finer Edge were very accommodating and came back the following day to complete their work. We really appreciated their effort. In addition, on their return we asked them to paint our basement laundry room and bathroom that was not in the original quote. We didn't asked for an additional quote and they were very fair with us on the price. And the job they did for us was excellent. We supplied the paint as we wanted the basement colors to match what we had painted in our upstairs. We will post some finished pictures for Finer Edge in future. I know this praise has come late but they did a wonderful job for us in January 2016. Edward Newell

    Painting Kitchen and Stairs

    We were impressed by the personal service from such a large company, starting with Bill's advice with some awkward aspects of the work we wanted done. Vince the project manager who helped us choose colours, was present every day of the job, ensuring that both crew and clients were satisfied with the work. Nick, who applied molding beautifully, despite the lopsided old house, and finally Jeff and Sam - both of whom did a fabulous paint job, and went over and above what was required. Great crew, great job!
