Great service, quality product, highly recommend

This is my second time being a customer of Canadian Choice Windows and Doors. I had both windows and front entry door replaced at my rental properties. The service was always timely and professional. Joe was the sales representative that assisted me both times. His customer service was excellent, he is knowledgeable about the products and would recommend according to your best interest. Lexi, the installer, did a great job with the installation and took his time to make sure his work was done properly and with care. Both times, the pricing was also unbeatable as I received 2 other quotes from 2 other companies each time. I would highly recommend their services to family and friends. Make sure you specifically request for Joe, I know I will. Thank you for the great service Joe. I hope to do more business with you again. But hopefully not anytime soon haha

    Window Replacements

I had previously used Canadian Choice (CC) several years ago for two basement window replacements with good results so I hired them again to replace 4 windows in my house with Energy Star DraftLock Slim Contour Windows in July 2023. CC gave me the best price quote of three I obtained, superior EnergyStar windows and lifetime warranty. The entire process was very smooth from the in-home consultation with Alex, follow-up measuring visit and installation. Email correspondence with their sales team, including quotes and revisions, were fast and attentive. The windows are high quality and look great. The windows were manufactured two months ahead of schedule, which was a pleasant surprise. The two installers were very professional, did a fantastic job, including a thorough clean up inside and out. I couldnt be happier and will hire CC again next Spring for some additional windows.

    New windows installed

Canadian Choice windows and doors did a fantastic job at my newly constructed home. My windows and doors were exactly as ordered. Tony was great to work with every step of the way. Every situation, every question he was right there reachable on the phone and resolving. The install crew Miroslav was absolutely by far the best. He verified everything he installed and the install was seamless. Miroslav kept me apprised of each and every step. End result was perfection even though I may have annoyed him with my many questions. Thanks again Canadian Choice would never hesitate to use them again.

    Window replacement for house

Excellent quality and service. Windows were better than I thought. Alex did an amazing job of assisting me with window selection. He offered me various options, provided pros and cons for each, and didn't pressure me to make my decision. Best of all, my wife was super happy with the results.

    Canadian Choice window installation

Right from the start, with Mike, who sold us the windows. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the purchase easy. The installers were friendly, and professional. This is not the first time, we used Canadian Choice, and will not be, the last time. We highly recommend them. Thanks!

    Excellent experience

I chose Canadian Choice Windows and Doors to replace nine windows and two doors in my house. After comparing quotes and technical data from eight other competitors, Canadian Choice was the logic choice. Their windows are technically impressive, with excellent energy rating (more than enough to qualify for the maximum rebate from the Canadian government). It is noteworthy that their windows have low solar heat gain coefficient, which is excellent for the summer, and also great U factor, which is perfect for the winter. In summary, the windows wont let the house overheat in the summer, and will keep the heat / cool generated by the HVAC system inside the house. An important detail, often overlooked, is that Canadian Choice windows have above average visible light transmission (0.47 for triple glazed windows), which means that these windows achieve a low solar heat gain coefficient by rejecting infra-red radiation (which carries most of the heat) rather than blocking the good part of Sun light. For reference, this is the NRCan of the windows I chose: NR9274-38220839-ES5 (you can look it up here on the NRCan page). The sales person I worked with made the whole experience wonderful. He cared about my needs, and was very responsive in providing all the technical data about the products (to my surprise some companies werent open with their technical data). His help was paramount in choosing the colors for our windows and doors, and the result turned out beautiful! The installation was done over two days by three professionals. They were very careful and delivered clean results, with no damages to the house. I was particularly worried about the installation of my basement windows, but the team did a spectacular job where they hand-crafted eye-popping external and internal trims around the windows. They even helped me fix the hinges of one of the doors inside my house, which shows they really care about customer happiness. It's been just a few days after the installation, but the average temperature in all three floors of the house seems more uniform (the windows and doors seem to have minimized the stack effect) and the house feels quieter. I still need more time to experience the full benefit of these new windows and doors, and I am particularly looking forward to the winter to better assess the quality of this hardware. I will also have an energy auditor coming to my house for a post-installation inspection soon. I will update this review as soon as I have the final report. I would also like to mention the experience at the Canadian Choice showroom. Their office, showroom and factory / warehouse are in very nice space in Vaughan, where the staff is very friendly, and open to questions and to demonstrating the functionality of the products. The only nuisance I have to mention is that there were some miscommunications with my order, so I would advice future customers to diligently review their order / quote. Finally, as a recommendation for Canadian Choice, it would be nice if you could give customers some updates during the manufacturing process (e.g.: when the order is sent to the factory, manufacturing time, manufacturing progress etc.). Customers tend to get anxious, and these updates would help. In the specific case of my order, there was doubt whether my basement windows could be manufactured with triple glazing (otherwise they would have to be dual glazed), and I only really had a definitive answer for this question when the windows arrived and I could inspect them personally. On the other hand, Canadian Choices communication leading to the installation days was perfect. They called us to schedule the crews visit, discussed potential changes with us due to weather conditions, called us the day the installation started to check if everything was going well, and afterwards to double-check if the results were to our satisfaction. Overall, I would recommend Canadian Choice, and if I need other windows or doors in the future, I will contact them.

    Won't fix the problems

The new door I had installed has a blue smokey look in between the glass and they won't change it and on of my other windows they installed, I have a hard time opening. They won't fix the problem and ignore me when I try to get help. I had 6 window and a door replaced. This is horrible

    Patio door for kitchen

We co texted Joe from the company for patio door for our kitchen as we need to do it urgently and in 3-4 weeks time frame. He came in and explained everything and we put in order and we got the door installed in less than 3 weeks. The installers came in and explained us all the little details and did a fantastic job in installing the door.

Windows (6) and doors (front+back) replacement

I decided to replace second floor windows (6 pieces) and made appointments with 5 different companies for estimate. Joe for Canadian Choice came on time and during the appointment he was very polite, informative but never pushy. He understood my approach to business "cut short and come to benefits + competitive price + customer service". He is friendly, respectful very polite. He made for me the whole process easy, understandable and quick. Installation was done by Igor and Igor. Both are extremely detail true, precisely, friendly, polite and respectful gentlemen. I am very happy and satisfied with my choice of company. I have already recommended my neighbor. The guy who often delivers to my address was in awe seeing my new front door and said "OMG one moment I thought I am in wrong address, impressive front door".
