Ather was just about the best HVAC person I've ever met. Not only did he fix the problem (my neutralizer was old and the hose was blocked), he taught me about furnace filters and fully explained why I had this problem and how to avoid it going forward. A little knowledge can prevent big repair bills. As a homeowner, I'm so grateful for the time he took to explain how I could avoid this particular issue in the future. I would absolutely call him again, worth every penny.

I would like to note the thorough service provided by Mr. Ather Hasan Home comfort advisor and Senior Tech. Mr. Hasan completed his inspection but along the way took the time to explain the procedure, and what to look for in the future. He clearly described the steps I should take as a homeowner to ensure proper functioning of the AC unit, and water pump. I appreciated hid diligence in checking the various rooms of the house to ensure proper air flow. I would recommend the service. Thank you

I have used cosmopolitan since 2015 for air condition and furnace repair, and duct cleaning services without issue. The week of May 28th I called the call centre four times to book a service technician and recieved horrible service. Two first attempts I was told they would call me back. No one called me back. The third time I called they said someone would, again, call me back to confirm a service date. This, again, did not happen. On the third and fourth call I asked to speak to a manager and was told he would call me back to discuss my concerns with the call centre. The manager did not call me back. I had my service visit on June 1 - I was quoted $99 by the call centre and the technician charged me $200 for a 15 minute visit. The delivery - electrical tape applied to a pipe to seal a crack. All around terrible service. It is noteworthy to mention that I waited this long to write this review (my first negative review on homestars) as I hoped I would recieve a call from the manager to share my grievances to avoid posting a review. This did not happen.

Our regular Home Comfort Advisor and Senior Technician, Ather, conducted annual maintenance on our air conditioner. Ather was helpful in pointing out that our air conditioner isn't as efficient as it once was, and gave us tips to improve its effectiveness this year. He also left us with strategies for trouble-shooting and replacement that we should consider undertaking next year if our air conditioner's efficiency further declines. This manages my expectations, it feels like I have some control over decision-making and allows me to budget for such expenditures, instead of being blindsided with repair/replacement costs next year. Bought the complete furnace system with Cosmopolitan. Technicians come for anual maintenance, check and explain everything very well. Mr. Ather has been doing it for 3 years now and he is really great. Unfortunately I've been having a problem with the Thermostat connection. Previous time they just replaced but this last time I received a call from Mr. Jason saying I would have to buy a new $700 thermostat, since the warranty was gone. Although I tried to argue with him about the real problem not been the thermostat, he didn't care much. Afters some calls with other atendents, they finally let the technician return. Ather fixed in minutes what looks like could be just a wiring problem and the thermostat is working just fine. Despite of that, most of my experience with the company is really good and I intend to keep using their service.

They installed our furnace 5 years ago. In May 2018, we noticed water on the floor in the furnace room and it was coming from the furnace. Called Cosmopolitan, a serviceman came onMay 5. He said he could find no water anywhere. We asked if it was possible that there may be blocked tube - "I checked them all, all is working fine" he said. Paid for the service. I week later, there was copious amounts of water on the floor by the furnace and water was pouring out. We called another company, they came and the tubes were blocked and we were told that the installers - Cosmopolitan did not install the tubes/pipes properly . We have left 3 messages with a Mr Adam and it is now May 30 and he has not returned our calls. THE HOMESTAR RATINGS ARE FALSE as said in another review.

Don't believe any positive reviews you read about this company! I've had my AC installed in 2013 and I I've had to have it service at least 4 times because it constantly leaks refrigerant over the winter and the unit is empty by the spring. It's been an extremely frustrating experience dealing with this company the past 6 years. During that time they have: 1) Offered a free annual inspection to apologize for their poor customer service, but then reneged on the offer because I didn't change my review. 2) Only offered band-aid solutions to deal with the leak, without finding the actual source. This enables them to cover their 1-month warranty period and continually charge $400 for a leak test to extract as much money from you as possible. I paid $1200 in leak tests - half as much of what I paid for the AC itself. 3) Refused to replace parts under warranty so that they can extract as much money from you as possible. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE DISHONEST, INCOMPETENT and UNETHICAL.

When I had to put in a new furnace I contacted Ather and it was refreshing to meet a salesperson with honesty and integrity. When it was time to replace my water heater I contacted Ather again. Once again he was direct, upfront and delivered on everything he promised (including the challenging task of getting rid of my old hot water tank). Furthermore, Fred and Kim who installed the hot water tank did an outstanding job and went over and beyond. They clearly took pride in the work they did and they cleaned up the work site such that you wouldn't have known they were there. I was very impressed with all 3 individuals and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, hardworking and trustworthy people.

Last week I received a few quotes for the purchase and install of a new furnace system in my home. I went with Cosmpolitan due to good price and confidence that they'd be able to handle the job in my home. They're team was very organized and they took care of all the paperwork and lmk that the cheque for the rebate will arrive in the mail. From my experience, I was happy with how it all went down.

Although it is always frustrating to have equipment failures and sometimes they are difficult to diagnose, all repairs were completed by cosmopolitan under warranty and the service agreements were honoured.
