    rollerblinds

    I had someone come out to measure for my blinds 2 weeks later they were installed. They were roman and rollerblinds,fits very nicely, look fantastic. Very professional installed,recommend this company highly.

    Hunter Douglas Blinds

    We dealt with Elizabeth when we attended to store. She was very kind and knowledgeable. She gave us many options to look at and answered all of our questions. The service was amazing. The gentlemen that attended at our home both to take measurements and to install the blinds were very nice people. The gentleman that took the measurements gave us his opinion which helped us make our final decision. The gentleman that installed the blinds was quick, he cleaned up his mess and he explained how to property use the blinds. We have dealt with this company once before, Kingsway Carpets & Blinds were great to deal with and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

    Custom Stair Rumner

    Maria was fantastic to help pick out the right carpet, and was very picky about ensuring the trim matched the carpet perfectly, as if it were her own. Friendly service, attentive to details, confident in quality of end product.

    carpet

    We have had 2 carpet installations over the past 2+ years and have been very delighted with the sales staff service and the installation. The most recent bedroom installation was a more difficult one as there were lots of corners around a wall unit and a storage bed (which could not be moved). Kosta had an excellent eye for colour and the installer worked miracles. Ron & Carol

    Installation of blinds

    The installation of remote controllable blinds throughout the main floor of a house. Excellent work. Precise, professional and friendly installers. Positive experience.

    Hunter Douglas Sheer Roller Shades

    I absolutely looooove my new roller blinds. The look is exactly what I wanted...sheer but private. You can barely see the strips once the fabric is ordered in a larger scale. Really different and perfect. Also, dealing with the staff and going through the process of picking out a fabric, ordering, having someone come measure my windows and the installation was all so helpful and professional. Don't hesitate to purchase from Kingsway, especially these blinds ;)

    Broken Chain is now $150 Service Call

    I initially gave this company a 10/10 but now that one of the chains (attached to the wall) is broken, they want $150 for a service call. Blinds were purchased less than 2 years ago. It just goes to show that you need to ask questions about service calls before you buy, or look for a store in the neighbourhood you live in because I'm not driving 20 miles to pick up a 50 cent chain or paying them $150 to fix a broken chain. I should know better.

    With Child Safety always in mind, the system used by Hunter Douglas in standard clutch operated roller shades is the “Breakaway Chain Connector”. When a force more than what was design for it is used, the plastic connector of the plastic bead chain breakaway. As results these shades takes no abuse. Breakaway Chain Connector • The component must be tested on mechanical properties, and UV and temperature resistance. • With 6 kg pulling downward on the chain, the chain must break. The component itself therefore must release at 3 kg. “ There was a misunderstanding in what exactly happened to the blind. Taking the time to explain and find out what was wrong helped to solve the problem. It is unfortunate that the frustration went straight to Homestars instead to find the solution for the problem. We hope that the new connectors that you received to connect the plastic chain back will last you for a few years. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any inquire. Always happy to HELP.

    Hunter Douglas Duette Blind With Powerview & Wall Switch For Skylight

    My skylight blind was installed as promised, complete with remote control. The installer did an impeccable job. Fits perfectly, works great. Every scrap of garbage was removed. No mess to clean up. Would definitely recommend Kingsway Carpets & Blinds. Extremely pleased with a job well done. Thank you.

    Hunter Douglas Blinds

    We ordered and had installed Hunter Douglas Duettes, Pirouettes, and a beautiful Viniette. From measuring to installation Kingway Carpets and Blinds was a pleasure to work with. They followed up to see if we were happy with our new blinds and we are extremely happy with the product and service. We have ordered from them in the past and will continue to do so.
