Have had a terrible experience with this costly renovation. I had an existing bathtub and shower combination replaced with a Jacuzzi combination which started two days ago and was supposedly completed yesterday. We had requested glass doors which did not seem to get on the order sheet, had been told to purchase grab bars and the moveable shower pole at our own expense. The installation of these again were not included on the work order. My husband had removed the old drywall, old insulation ,and the old tub surrounding walls to make the installation time better. We were told that the company would remove these from our property. They did not. They did not bring a three way converter needed for the shower installation. Told us that was not on the order sheet. As these installers are not plumbers we were required to pay a plumbing company $700 extra to come to reverse a T needed for the installation
on the first day. Told not to use the bath ir shower fir 24 hours, we discovered today that bathtub drain is leaking onto our front entrance way. Also that the grab bars are not secured into a wood support. We are now going to have to get the installers back to remedy the situation. Thought that by dealing with a reputable company which widely advertises on the television, we would not have had to experience such stress and problems.
