    Clogged Toilet

    We were so lucky to have Wynford as the technician. Our toilet apparently needed a second "snake" and he came for a second visit. He told us after the first visit the work was guaranteed and true to his word he fixed the problem...with no additional cost to us. He explained the problem to us and if we needed him again to just call. Would highly recommend him and New Canadian Drain.

    Fixing leak under sink

    This company takes advantage of ignorance: I had a leak under the bathroom sink, which, as it turns out, took less than 15 minutes of work unscrewing a couple of supply lines, and putting two new ones in. The plumber arrived, had a look at the leak, and told me it would cost $400 to fix. I was startled, but agreed because I assumed it must be a big job, and I know plumbing is expensive. But when it turned out to be such a quick fix (the company has tried to tell me it was an hour of work: that's just not true -- he was up there for no more than 15 minutes) I asked him how he could justify charging $400 for such a small job. He said $280 was the minimum charge for the time, and then there were materials: he told me the two supply lines cost $30-$50 dollars each (a pretty big discrepancy). After he left, I looked up the price on-line and supply lines are listed for literally $5 at Home Hardware. ($4.69 was the cheapest one). Judging from the company's response to other negative reviews, the line seems to be 'we gave you a price, and you agreed.' True, but that doesn't make this an honest or fair transaction.

    Find the source of a leak

    I posted a service request on Homestars as I had water coming into the master bedroom closet floor, from the en-suite bathroom shower. I got a call from a friendly professional lady (who's name I have forgotten; my apologies) to set up an appointment. Mark arrived to diagnose the issue. I worried that he would have to cut into the closet wall to get at the problem, or worse yet he would have to disassemble the shower unit to get to the pipes, and that it would turn into a huge job. Mark inspected the areas carefully and suggested that he test the area by running the shower, before doing any intrusive work. He found a small leak in the side of the shower which was allowing the water to get to the wall and into the closet. All it needs is re-caulking when it dries. Thanks Mark for your professionalism and New Canadian!

    Kitchen Sink emergency repairs

    I called New Canadians Plumbing and they scheduled Mark. He showed up on time, assessed what needed to be done, gave an estimate and was thorough and thoughtful in his work. Stayed to make sure everything worked. Thank you, Mark, New Canadians Plumbing!

    Drain leak

    Clogged kitchen drain fixed by Mark!

    I had a leaky kitchen pipe and phoned New Canadian Drain promptly. I was very impressed they were able to send a technician within the hour. Mark arrived promptly and diagnosed my leak was due to a blockage in the drain. He was very upfront and honest about the pricing which I really appreciated. He did an excellent and very thorough job of taking care of my blockage and leak. I would absolutely recommend Mark and New Canadian Drain and Plumbing. Thank you again Mark!

    Faucet replacement, indoor and outdoor valve replacement

    Mark was friendly and knowledgable. Great explanations with a sense of humor. He was tidey and took his time to make sure it was done right. I will definitely call him for our future plumbing needs.

    A Plumbing Emergency Quickly Repaired

    When the fill valve in our powder room toilet broke without our knowledge, the supply line to the tank ruptured, covering our floor in water. Within an hour of my panicked call, New Canadian Plumbing sent Mark to the rescue. He quickly diagnosed the issue, performed a speedy repair, and snaked our drain with a camera to ensure that nothing would keep the standing water from draining from our basement. He was personable, patient, thorough and very kind. Most important, he repaired our issue within three hours of arriving. Thank you Mark! I can not recommend him highly enough.

    Replacement sink and cabinet, recaulking tub, and leaky toilet

    Mila in triage was the best I ever corresponded with. She shuffled and reshuffled appointments and was calm polite and pleasant...Esteban did all the work and was very clear and pleasant. He went above and beyond our expectations. Can not recommend highly enough. 5 stars!

    fixing kitchen sink drain

    The kitchen sink drain was broken. New Canadian Drain and plumbing sent someone the next day. Mahmoud (also goes by Mark) was very professional and quickly diagnosed, quoted and fixed the kitchen drain. He proceeded to test everything to make sure it didn't leak. Would recommend.
